Hello all.
As the cool weather starts and the leaves start changing colors its a great time to get outside with your units for a fun fall hike!
Our annual Lemon Lake hike is on again this year. Join us at Lemon Lake Co Park on Saturday October 28th. Registration starts at 8:00, kick off is at 9 am.
For the packs, before you leave for home after the hike, stop by and visit our troops, packs and crews for the Trunk or Treat.
Units who wish to participate in the trunk or treat, please bring some candy to pass out to the scouts when they come through.
The Order of the Arrow will be running the hike and will have two different hiking trails marked. Cost is 5.00 per person for a patch. (best if you register by unit).

Scout Friendly costumes are encouraged.
We are also looking for OA members to help guide on the hike as well. If you have scouts who can help, please let us know as well.

Unit Leader Dinners
The first Unit Leader Dinner is only ONE WEEK away! All unit leaders, assistant unit leaders, unit representatives, OA representatives, and youth interested in being elections trained are encouraged to attend. We challenge you to bring a friend or an adult from your unit or your chapter. There will be food, fellowship, and a chance to get yourself and your troop more involved in the lodge’s fun program.
The dates for the dinners are:
North: St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, Park Ridge, IL on 11/07 at 7pm
Central: Union Church of Hinsdale, Hinsdale, IL on 11/02 at 7pm
South: St. John's Lutheran Church, Lansing, IL on 10/25 at 7pm
Additionally, there will be remote Unit Elections trainings on Zoom:
10/27 @ 7:30pm: Calumet, Thunderbird, and Prairie Dunes ONLY
11/19 @ 7pm: All Chapters
12/17 @ 3pm: All Chapters

Formerly known as the Council Consolidated Meeting, this is an opportunity for all Scouters, Leaders, Parents, and Professionals from throughout the Council to join together to share information, give updates, increase transparency, and encourage collaboration in an effort to strengthen our communication, teamwork, and ability to deliver the best program for our youth!
The Council Impact Meeting will be held on the third Saturday of each quarter. These sessions will last only a few hours and will not have any cost to attend.
Information will be provided on upcoming program and activity offerings, training opportunities, advancement and recognition news, camp and outdoor adventure updates, Order of the Arrow, as well as reports from the Fund Development committee, Membership committee, District Operations, Key 3, and more!
