The official Nebraska Alumni Chapter in the New York City area 🌽
You can sit with us! And we really, really want you to! We're looking for new hands to help us carry on the storied and silly tradition of the NYC Huskers and we're holding a meeting this Wednesday, July 24th, to get the ball (foot, volley, basket, or whatever ball you prefer) rolling on the 2024-2025 season. Lifetime friendships, unforgettable memories, and countless ridiculous social posts have been forged in the fire of the NYC Huskers Board and we simply can't gatekeep it any longer. Give us a shout if you're able to make it to the The Brazen Tavern on Wednesday at 7pm (or, just show up, it's seriously fine). If you're not, and still want to be involved, let us know and we're happy to fill you in afterwards. Regardless, we can't wait to meet you! Go Big Red!
There's no place like Central Park in the spring and there's no place like Nebraska on Spring Game day! While not an official watch party (due to a lack of available volunteers), the Brazen Tavern will have the annual Red vs White clash on this Saturday at noon to get your football fix before the long summer offseason begins. And while we're at it, if you'd like to volunteer for future NYC Huskers events, please DM us! We'd love the help. As always, GO BIG RED!
🚨 NEBRASKETBALL IS BACK IN THE BIG DANCE 🚨 Both your men’s and women’s Husker basketball teams are in their respective NCAA Tournaments, with the men making their first appearance in a decade! We can’t wait to celebrate with you at The Brazen Tavern as they both take on Texas A&M (real cute, huh?) on Friday night. The 8th-seeded men tip off at 6:50pm, while the 6th-seeded women make it a late night here on the east coast with a 10:30pm tipoff. Show up early, wear red, and be ready to be loud! GO BIG RED!
