The funds you raised at the four Rides FAR events have already been put to work; today Autism Science Foundation released funding for seven autism research grants. These grants will have a direct impact on early diagnosis and gene discovery, and will help develop new interventions for people with autism at home and in schools. Thank you for helping Autism Science Foundation make such a major impact on the lives of those with autism!

Our final board member spotlight is David V. LaValle! Dave is Senior Managing Director, Global Head of ETFs at Grayscale Investments, the world’s largest crypto asset manager. Prior to his current role, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Alerian (since rebranded VettaFi). He has more than 20 years of experience in financial services and a diverse background that spans the entire ETF landscape. Dave also previously served as the US Head of SPDR ETF Capital Markets and as a member of the senior leadership team at State Street Global Advisors. Prior to State Street, he led Nasdaq’s Exchange Traded Product Marketplace where he was responsible for all aspects of strategy and business development for Nasdaq’s ETP listing and trading businesses. Our next board member profile features Chris Marino! Chris has extensive experience providing network connectivity services and leading innovation in the telecommunications sector for the financial services industry for over 40 years. Chris began his career as an individual contributor at MCI Communications. He then went on to lead the financial services verticals in multiple executive positions at TRT/FTC Communications, Con Edison/RCN Communications, IXNET/ Global Crossing, and TRM Solutions. In 2010, he founded Wall Street Networks, which he sold to GTT in 2014. In 2018, Chris founded his current and most successful company, Aquablue Network, where he is currently the Chief Executive Officer.
