NYU Game Center Lecture Series Presents Ray Sima, Lead Producer at Firaxis!
Ray Sima's Lecture Series event has been rescheduled!
NYU Game Center Lecture Series Presents Ray Sima
Wednesday, April 17th, 7pm - 8:30pm
370 Jay Street, Lecture Hall 202
Rachel (Ray) Sima is a Lead Producer at Firaxis Games. She got her start in the Philadelphia indie game scene and has recently worked on the award-winning games Marvel's Midnight Suns and Life is Strange: True Colors. Ray works with the NYU Game Center Incubator as an advisory board member and directly with incubator teams Vanishing Point and DEEPMESS. Her mission is to elevate games that build space for joy for those who need it most.
Together we will explore connection, and the ways this often-overlooked element of game development can hold back even the best creators from the success their games could achieve. Attendees will walk away with a proposed framework for connection-building in game development and an exercise to apply to their own work.
