CARP Boston kicks off the semester activities with an important topic! πŸ‘

Show us how your chapters are welcoming this semester πŸ™Œ

・・・
How much are you investing into your relationships every day? πŸ€”

This Friday we had our first Higher Purpose talk of the semester!

Samuel Miranda shared on the topic of relationships: how our life purpose includes investing into relationships on every level - with our self, our family, and our greater community, as well as the importance of bringing God into those relationships!

Thank you to everyone who joined the start of our semester - we hope to see you at our next event!

Bringing new hope in the new year πŸŽ†

National CARP held a week-long retreat in the beautiful paradise of Las Vegas! 🏜 Many students dug deep in the Divine Principle and the lives of the CARP founders to kick off the year and semester πŸ™Œ

Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a visionary πŸŒ„

He saw the dream, and fought for it. His dream was so ahead of its time that it is still being manifested till this very day.

As CARP, we invite everyone to look to his life as an example of someone who gave his life for peace and service πŸ•Š

We’ve come a long way! πŸ™Œ

Ever since its inception on January 10th, 1966, CARP has been in the forefront for the youth to bring about a new culture on college campuses and beyond ✨️

As we enter our 57th year, let us connect to the words of CARP founder Rev. Sun Myung Moon about his hopes: β€œCARP members and young leaders: with burning passion and pure reasoning β€” the special gifts of youth β€” let us go forward together to build one true united world.”

πŸŽ„ Just in time for Christmas! πŸŽ„

What a wonderful semester!
Just a while ago we hosted a jam-packed End-of-Semester Celebration! We shared food, offered gratitude, and celebrated what we all accomplished this term! It's easy to be grateful when things are easy and simple, but we need to acknowledge that the challenges have given us the strength to overcome and rise victoriously! Thank you for those who shared and all those who came for the festivities. 🎊

We miss you all already! 😭 Have a wonderful holiday season and a Happy New Year! We will see you all very soon in 2023!

We love you!! 🫢

Remember to celebrate πŸ™Œ

The end of the semester could bring up a lot of different emotions. One thing we do encourage is to acknowledge those moments when you gave, tried, made effort β€” no matter how small or the outcome, you guys made it through the home stretch and that is worth celebrating! πŸŽ†

It’s a late post BUT, CARP FARMINGDALE was able to host their first introductory event!! πŸ₯³Tyrone, Carp Farmingdale’s President gave a simple brief introduction of the divine principle and went into POC 1.

It was very engaging as we got to discuss and share in small groups about God and the purpose of life πŸ™πŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ» we all wished there was more time to keep on talking!!

Thank you! CARP Farmingdale will return next semester so be on the lookout πŸ˜‰

You can say that again, CARP Boston! πŸ‘πŸ‘

What's a truth bomb you learned from your CARP talks?

・・・
Our second DP Seminar happened last Saturday!

We continued our discussion of the Divine Principle with talks about our original value as human beings, and our growth process in connecting with God throughout different parts of our lives.

We also learned about spiritual growth, and how a life of doing good can help nourish your spirit🌻

How can we continue nourishing our spirit this month?
🍁A good start is spending quality time with your family on Thanksgiving!🍁

What do you believe can bring lasting happiness?

・・・
What will motivate us to achieve lasting happiness?

We all want to experience joy, but life gets even better when we seek to to give joy to others. 🌸

In this past Chabot club meeting, we read and discussed about how living for the sake of others can bring us the highest sense of happiness to our lives. We are uplifted when people think and care for us, but how much of a change can we make when we think about others?

Thank you all for coming! See you next week! 🫢🫢
