Since we're in the month of graduation I felt it suitable to bring up the topic of PASSING THE TEST 🎓
In everything we do in life we're being tested and so our actions and performance will determine whether we fail or graduate to the next level soToday's God's moment is called WILL YOU PASS THE TEST? 📚
Reading from the book of James chapter 1 verse 22 through 25 and it says "
Do not merely listen to the word and deceive yourself 'do what it says "
Anyone who looks at the word but does not do what it says is like looking in the mirror and immediately after looking at yourself walks away and forgets what he looks like but he who looks at God perfect word and continues in it will be blessed in all they do"
And I'm saying this to say "
Did you ever study for a test then when the day of the test came you forgot what you studied for?
What is the difference between a college graduate that never used his knowledge for anything and someone who never went to school at all ? No difference, they're both without knowledgeor understanding"
The book of Proverbs chapter 135 verse 16 says"
Mouths they may have but can not speak, eyes they may have but can not see"
Remember '
commitment + dedication = understanding which is why the book of Proverbs chapter 1 verse 5 says"
Let the wise hear and increase in learning and the one who understands obtain guidance.
Therefore remember this saying"
Failure is mind over matter- If you don't mind failing then it won't matter!

I spoke on this four years ago but I think its time for a repeat reminder "
Don't be afraid to speak the truth, as long as ou're doing so to help someone.
Stop taking constructive criticism as a personal attack.
You can lie to someone else but you can't lie to God AND yourself!
You may save a life or help someone from continuing to harm themselves physically or spiritually by telling them the truth but remember ' its not what you say but how you say it"
As long as you're speaking in Godly terms and not to harm someone then do so because the truth shall set them free"
The book of John chapter 8 verse 32 says"
And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”
And Proverbs chapter 14 verse 25 says"
A truthful witness saves lives, but one who breathes out lies is deceitful
To the deniers you may gain enemies but to those who truly know God , they may Thank you later for saving them from themselves because even children of God gets tempted and tested but God will always be there for you and sometimes he uses others to reach out to us and help us find a way out of our own mess"
1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 13 also says"
No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it
While also Romans chapter 12 verse 2 says"
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect
And lastly Galatians chapter 4 verse 16 says"
Have I then become your enemy by telling you the truth?
Therefore do not hate your brother for helping you to see clearly and saving you from the temptations of the flesh which helps you hide or cover up the truth to feed our selfish ego's or pride, learn to accept and appreciate constructive criticism and use it to make you the better stronger person that God knows you are.

Ephesians chapter 2 verse 10:
we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.
I love this Bible verse because This phrase highlights the purpose for which people were created: to use their talents and abilities to benefit others and so as followers of Christ and missionaries be it here at home or abroad
Missionary work means aside from following Jesus and walking by the Holy Spirit as you spread the gospel and make disciples of every nation we are to follow the examples of Jesus and learn to work beyond church walls and serve.
Missionary Work Means: Caring For The Least of These
Jesus tells us that whatever we do for the least of these, we do it for him. Who are the least of these?

Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.’

Matthew 25:34-35 ESV
Jesus’ heart has always been for the most desperate, the people we would think of as ‘too far gone’ and then forgotten. Jesus himself hung out with prostitutes and sinners, never excusing their sin but instead forgiving them and loving them.

In the same way, a missionary’s work, as well as any Christian’s, is to care for the least of these and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

They are to be his hands and feet for children, the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, and the prisoners. We are called to love them and care for them as if these people were Jesus himself.

The Bible is clear about this work and its importance, and according to James, we are also to care for orphans and widows.
Missionary Work Means: Loving and Serving Others Before Yourself

Missionary means Like Jesus, we are called to serve others before ourselves.
Whether it's visiting a prison the sick or elderly feeding the homeless or needy helping the
community etc
We do this while sharing the gospel and praying with those in need
And This is important because through loving and serving others, people may come to know Christ and be saved.
And I'm sharing all this to say"
Are you ready to roll up your sleeve and get out of your comfort zone and serve?
JESUS NEEDS YOU!!

Generosity, a willingness to give your time to others
Understanding, because their lives might be very different from your own
Empathy, an ability to put yourself in someone else's shoes and feel what they must feel
Compassion, to truly care about making someone else's life better
Patience, because the process doesn't always go as smoothly as you wish"
Dedication, to stick with the project and see it through "

Now lwt us read from the book of Isaiah chapter 58 verse 10 and it says "
Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.
And the book of Mathews chapter 5 verse 16 says "
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven
These chapters reminds me of a little story:
One day this old man was pacing back & forth looking down at the sidewalk and this other man walked by and saw him and said,
Hey Mr. Whatcha doing? The old man said looking for a quarter that I dropped. The other man said where exactly did you drop it? And the old man replied I dropped it across the street, so the other guy said then why are you looking for it on this side? And he said" because the light is on this side.
Therefore I'm saying this to say "
learn to find your light and it will reveal your reward.
Help those whom are in the dark and watch your light shine brighter than you can ever imagine.

Since there are too many distractions in the world it's time for a reminder so today's God's moment is about WEARING YOUR BLINDERS"
Reading from the book of Proverbs chapter 4 verse 25 through 27 and it says"
Let your eyes look directly forward and your gaze be straight " ponder the path of your feet then all of your ways will be sure, Do not swerve to the left nor the right , keep looking straight ahead and turn your feet away from evil / negativity.
Meaning just like in a horse race ,so that the horse does not get distracted they put blinders on him so that he can just focus straight ahead and so we humans must also wear a spiritual blinder so that we can stop getting distracted by things that have nothing to do with our journey or goals in life"
And I'm saying all this to say "

Stop getting distracted by meaningless situations and worldly negative temptations and TURN ALL OF YOUR WORRIES INTO WORSHIP AND WATCH GOD TURN ALL OF YOUR BATTLES INTO BLESSING"

This morning I want to share a brief story with you.
One day this little boy was at a store with his mom and while she was shopping the boy stood by this counter staring at this huge baskets of assorted candy and the man behind the counter said You like candy little boy? Go ahead Take as much as you can but the boy just stood there star⁹ing so the man repeated himself saying go ahead little boy grab some candy for free it's on me" but again the little boy just stood there so the man took a bag grabbed a bunch of candy with both hands put it in the bag and gave it to the little boy. The boy's mom smiled and Thanked the store owner and walked away then the mom said to the little boy why didn't you grab the candy? and the boy said because his hands were bigger 😊
The moral of this story is
Quit relying on your own ability and put your needs in God's hands because his hands are bigger"
Isaiah chapter 41 verse 10 says"
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

She makes linen garments and sells them;
she delivers sashes to the merchant.
Strength and dignity are her clothing,and she laughs at the time to come.
She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
And so Although every day is Mother’s day we celebrate this special day because the
M” is for the million things a mother gives to her children
“O” means all the Overtime she puts into her family
“T” is for the tears she shed to protect and save us from the negative elements,
“H” is for her heart as pure as gold,
“E” is for her eyes, with love- always watching over us ,
“R” means right, and right she’ll always bin
Put them all together, they spell “MOTHER,”
A word that means the world
So Happy Mother’s day to all the mothers around the world 🌎 💓

When you feel there is chaos in your life it says in the book of 1 Peter chapter 5 verse 7"
Cast your anxiety upon the lord because he cares about you"
And so like the book of Mathews chapter 21 verse 22 say”
And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.
Which reminds me of a brief story about faith called When God speaks”
This man whispered
,God, speak to me," and a bird sang.

But the man did not hear.

So the man yelled, "God, speak to me," and thunder rolled across the sky.

But the man did not listen.

The man looked around and said, "God, let me see you." And a star shined brightly.

But the man did not see it.

And the man shouted, "God, show me a miracle." And a child was born.

But the man did not notice.

So, the man cried out in despair, "Touch me, God, and let me know you are here."

Whereupon, God reached down and touched the man. But the man brushed the butterfly away and walked on.
And I'm saying this to say "
Activate the 3 L’s in your life
LOOK-LISTEN & LEARN , learn to walk by faith and Stop trying to fight your problems, enemies or battles by yourself when you have the strongest resource available to you"
The most high ,
all mighty
all knowing God above all God's
King above all kings,
creator of all things.
Call upon him and tell him you woes , concerns , problems ,trails and tribulations with faith and conviction and he will make a way where it looks like there is no way"
And lastly let us remember what it says in Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Today's God's moment is called SOAR LIKE AN EAGLE"
Each one of us was born differently . Each with our own set of personalities and a set of circumstances and many battling our own demon's working to escape a past or hide their problems , some bigger than anyone can imagine , we try to hide the fears of our problems with a smile or create a facade to block it or cover it up" some even camelfluage it by resorting to substance abuse because they can't weather the storm of their problems but the book of 2 Timothy 1 -7 says"
God gave us a spirit not of fear but of
power love and self control.
Now think about that chapter for a minute" It says God gave us the POWER not of fear put the power to change any circumstances in our lives and he taught us love by making the altimate sacrifice through his son
To give us a second chance and so we should also love ourselves enough to want to make a sacrifice for ourselves and display self control to change our circumstances and soar like an Eagle but we do not have to weather the storm by ourselves " for the book of Psalms chapter 107- 29 says he will calm the raging storms and make the waves quit
And I'm saying this to say "
Did you know that an eagle knows when a storm is coming but rather than run from the storm the eagle fly atop a mountain or high tree and sits and waits for the storm to come , and when the storm arrives he will not fear the storm but he sets his wings to the winds of the storm and allow it to lift him up above the storm, so while the storm is raging below the eagle soars above the storm!
He didn't escape the storm he used it to lift him up higher than the storm"
So again I'm saying all this to say :
When your storm arrives don't let the storm overcome you but use it to soar above the storm and remember while God helps you calm the storm he also gave you the power to change the storm.

So in today's God's moment I want to once again remind you and bring focus on the fact that we as members of our all mighty father God's family ,have all that we need to live a righteous life full of happiness joy and prosperity and since God doesn't force us to love and obey him, to keep us on track he puts us through several tests, therefore the question once again is" CAN YOU PASS THE TEST?
Reading from the book of 1 Peter chapter 1 verse 7 and it says "
These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world.
Now let's look at our situation"
God gave us life and the most powerful most advanced computer ever created, our brain, he gave us this planet fill of abundance then rather than forcing us to do his bidding he gave us freedom of choice and to be able to make the right choice he gave us an instructional manual called the Bible full of knowledge wisdom and understanding to teach us warn us and prepare us by learning right from wrong good from bad negative from positive. God knew Satan was trying to interfere with his plan so he gave us his son who sacrificed his life to give us a second chance at life therefore Satan can no longer sabotage us unless we let him.
We are in charge of our own decisions & choices and therefore WE are the seed droppers of our own destiny"
Remember God said in the book of Genesis I make mankind as an image to me, so let's analyze that sentence, our father is strong intelligent and rich in every way so if we are of his image then as heirs to the thrown why do we choose to be weak poor or followers to the masses for the rest of our lives?
So I'm saying this to say
Stay strong stay prayed up and remember since we have the power of choice then
MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES"

So again starting this Sunday to help prepare us for the new week to come we start a regimen to exercise our heart mind body and soul to help keep us strong and protected by the power of the Holy ghost and covered by the blood of Jesus because as we know Satan is on a relentless pursuit to steal kill and destroy and is always waiting for us to display our weaknesses therefore like in the physical world when we want a change and transformation we brake away from bad eating habits we stick to a routine at the gym, we run etc therefore let us also exercise our heart mind and souls by reading God's word and gathering with likevminded people because as he says in Mathews chapter 18 verse 20"
For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.”
So let us do as Hebrews chapter 10 verse 24 & 25"
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
And so use this Sunday to gather your family and friends or maybe just for yourself and come visit the temple of God, his house of grace and worship and grab yourself a good portion of strength and blessing for in the book of Isaiah chapter 40 verse 29 he says"He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
And when this upcoming new week comes you can hold your head up high and say as the book of 2 Corinthians chapter 12 verse 9"
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
In closing May The Lord bless you and keep you; May the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;
May the Lord turn his face towards you and give you peace.

Let us learn to be humble servants of God not only preaching his gospel but extending our hands to do good deeds in as many ways as we can remembering that we were born to serve and not to be served.
If our lord Jesus Christ knew this then we must follow the example of our lord"
Mark chapter 10 verse 45"
For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.
All good deeds are rewarded in more ways than anyone can imagine and our lord and savior will always provide
The book of Philippians chapter 4 verse 19 says"
"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"
And in thinking of this let me share with you a brief true story"
One day this poor farmer was working his field when he heard screams of a child the farmer stopped what he was doing and hurried towards the screams when he came upon a deep ditch and saw a young child fell into it , the farmer kept trying to save the child but it was steep and very dangerous even for the farmer but he kept trying and trying and didn't give up until finally with some rope and a horse he managed to pull the little boy out unharmed.
The next day a luxurious carriage showed up to the farmers home and a very rich man stepped off the carriage and announced that he was the father of the boy he saved , the farmer invited him in and gave him a cup of hot tea ☕️ and a plate of food the rich man Thanked him for saving his son and tried to give the farmer a bag with a large sum of money but the farmer refused to take it for saving his son , just then a little boy came out of the next room and the rich man said is that your son? The farmer replied yes sir" so the rich man said well let me at least pay for all of your son's schooling , he'll go to the best schools as my son , so the farmer agreed to that"
The farmers son later became a physician and scientist who discovered penicillin his name was Alexander Fleming and later that rich man who paid for his schooling became gravely I'll and the farmer's son Alexander Fleming saved his life , The rich man's name was Randolph Churchill and his son's name who was the little boy the farmer saved was Winston Churchill
And so in closing let's remember what Galatians chapter 6 verse 9 says"
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

The creator of anything from out of nothingness to everything our Heavenly Father God has given each individual an inner gift, some are mathematicians some are geniuses artist musicians poets painters writeters builders creators inventors etc etc but the reason why most of humanity fail is because we neglect to use our gifts correctly especially the gift of universal social media which can be used to not only promote our talents business and skills but to create a forum or platform so that others nay know how great our God is and help bring maybe lost confused or unaware people to God and his promise
1 Peter chapter 4 verse
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
So stop feeding your ego or superficial facade of self gratification to feel loved or important trying to have thousands of fake friends or followers and try using some of that time and talent to promote God's will and word and the rest will follow on its own

Amid the continuing craziness happening here at home and around the world 🌎 I feel it necessary to repeat this God's moment so today's God's moment is about A HURTING WORLD :( For far too long we have seen what humans have done to this world to bring about death and distruction and our heavenly father is giving us a chance once again to repent , to come together and salvage what ever is left of humanity"
2 Chronicles chapter 7 verse 14 says" If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.
Let us rid ourselves of these viruses and sicknesses that plague our world with all this hate violence wars killing lies manipulation deception corruption etc due to greed envy and jealousy and finally realize that our only salvation is God almighty.
Let us come together far and wide from every nation every race and religion and Create a massive global prayer chain to ask our lord and savior to give our leaders the knowledge and wisdom to make righteous choices and decisions"
