πŸ’Ό Networking Tip of the Day πŸ’¬πŸ€

Are you ready to level up your networking game? Here's a golden tip that can make a world of difference: ""Be a Good Listener."" πŸ“£

πŸ‘οΈβ€πŸ—¨οΈ Give Your Full Attention: When you're in a conversation, be present. Put away distractions, make eye contact, and show you're engaged.

❓ Ask Open-Ended Questions: Encourage others to share by asking questions that invite detailed responses.

🀝 Practice Empathy: Try to understand their perspective and experiences. Show genuine interest in what they have to say.

🀫 Avoid Interrupting: Let them finish speaking before you respond. It's a sign of respect and helps maintain the flow.

πŸ“ Remember Names: Names are powerful. Make an effort to remember and use them in conversation.

πŸ—’οΈ Take Notes: Jot down key points or interesting insights. It shows you value what you learn.

Being a good listener isn't just about hearing words; it's about understanding and building authentic connections. So, the next time you're networking, put on your best listening ears! πŸ™ŒπŸ‘‚

Join us for a blood drive in honor of one of our own Thurston Young Professionals. Carley with Howell Mendiola Team - Academy Mortgage Corporation has been diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia.

We wanted to do something, anything to support her and other folks in the PNW battling cancer. One way we can do that is this Bloodworks Northwest blood drive. Consider a donation on October 6th.

Bound by Blood - Donate as One!
One of our own, Carley Mendiola, was hospitalized in June and diagnosed with Leukemia, a cancer of the blood. Her exact subtype of Leukemia is made up of both acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) that result in a rare formβ€”mixed- phenotype acute leukemia (MPAL)β€”cancer that requires the expertise of specialists in Seattle.
Blood products are needed for cancer treatments, and you can help support Carley and patients like her by making a blood donation.
https://schedule.bloodworksnw.org/DonorPortal/GroupLanding.aspx?s=115C
From Carley's recent post on her Care for Carley page - β€œI encourage those who can to donate blood. You are saving lives. I rely on your donations every two-three days to keep my levels stable during my treatments and recovery.”

As soon as he learned about the impact that chiropractic care made in the function of the nervous system, he was all in! He attended graduate school in the Bay Area where he took extensive post-doctoral certification in developmental neurobiology, pediatric care, and pregnancy care.
