Good afternoon Brothers and sisters. RENEW’s Labor Day Luau is this weekend and they are so excited to have you all there! It's really a celebration of you all, the labor that goes into building our cities. It's going to be a fun filled day with food from . Serving authentic options like their famous Island fried chicken, kalua pork, Mac salad, and fried rice to name a few. They will also have our kids corner with fun activities and airbrush tattoos by . Co****le boards will be out and ready to compete amongst one another. Before the day ends, you can catch some live music by playing 50s, 60s, and surf instrumentals for us all. Don't forget to come in your best aloha outfit for the best aloha shirt contest. Members, family, and friends came out to the Distrcit 5 Palmdale unit meeting to celebrate Mitch Klein’s last hoorah! Mitch Klein has dedicated his life to Local 11 IIBEW and serving the members of the antelope valley. Mitch Klein’s legacy of 40 plus years of service will forever be appreciated and recognized by all who have had the pleasure to know him.
Happy Retirement Mitch, and thank you for all you have done for the membership and the IBEW.

Business Manager/ Financial Secretary Robert Corona along with some staff and members spent a couple of days in Sacramento speaking with legislators about issues that affect our members and their livelihood. There are some bills in the process that will help our contractors to garner more work for our members.
