Meet Ashley! Ashley was the first therapist to join the Audrey at Edge Counseling and Wellness and we're so thrilled to have her as a part of the team.
Have you seen the movies Inside Out and Inside Out 2? Ashley is trained in Internal Family Systems, which is a type of therapy that the movie is based off of!
Fun Fact: Ashley studied French for 5 years. While she is not fluent, she can probably help you translate the basics. One of her all time favorite quotes comes from a French Novela titled Le Petit Prince (The Little Prince). The quote, which she believes speaks well to the counseling profession, goes like this...

To start... meet Audrey! Audrey started the practice several years ago after working in many different sectors of the community including child welfare as a caseworker, part time at the Heart of Illinois HIV/AIDS clinic at the University of Illinois College of Medicine and also as the clinical coordinator at OSF in the partial hospitalization program.
Fun Fact: Audrey also holds a 200 hour yoga certification with YogaFit, specializing working with individuals that have experienced PTSD. You will notice that she likes to utilize techniques such as mindfulness from her yoga training to practice grounding and being more present!

In case you didn’t know, Two Men and a Truck are a locally owned moving company that also handles junk removal! Originally from near Rockford (where another location exists), the family calls Peoria their home.
We’re excited about being able to engage with the community in the future to learn how we can support one another in making the Peoria Area a great place to live, work and play. 🩵
