Rodeph Shalom MLK Mitzvah Day Sign Up Join us for a Mitzvah Day on Sunday January 15, 2017, from 9:30-12:30 in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr day. Instead of regular classes, you will have the opportunity to choose a project to help create something that will help other people.

Rodeph Shalom will be open tomorrow morning, normal hours, for Berkman Mercaz Limud and Adult Programming.

Don't forget to clean your closets out before Sunday and bring any and all gently used clothing with you to BML!

We are collecting used clothing for Our Closet powered by Jewish Family and Children's Service of Greater Philadelphia, a non-profit that provides free clothing to Philadelpians.

BML students will sort and bundle the donations as part of our MLK Mitzvah Day on January 15, 2017.

October 16, 2016 - Berkman Mercaz Limud celebrated Sukkot with visits to the sukkah in the playground with Rabbi Kuhn, while the Men of RS built the sukkah in the courtyard (that we can't wait to have dinner in on Wednesday night!!). In the classroom, we learned about sukkot, the Western Wall and so much more! Chag Same'ach!

Follow these step-by-step instructions for each child you wish to register for the 2016-2017 school year at Berkman Mercaz Limud.
1. Log into the RS Community Portal: https://rodephshalom.force.com/rodephshalom/login
2. Click on the Contacts tab
3. Select My Household Members, click go
4. Click the name of the child you would like to register
5. Click the Register for Mercaz Limud button (on the right side of page)
6. Complete form for child
7. If you are registering more than one child, please follow these steps again for each child.

Last night some of our teachers got together for a Shabbat Dinner, where we hung a mezuzah on the bedrom door of new-staff member Allison, said the blessings and had lots of fun getting to know each other better!
