Happy to announce the Creative Collective -- open to all Saint Joseph's University Undergraduate Admissions students who want to use their creativity and resources to produce creative content for campus groups and surrounding communities.
The Creative Collective is hosting its first meeting on Friday, 9/9, at 12:30 in Bronstein Hall.
We will discuss initial logistics and our first website project with the Graterford ThinkTank. - Presenters will include Susan Clampet-Lundquist (Sociology), Nina Johnson (Sociology at Swarthmore), and David Buckley, a former student of hers who has also been a middle-school teacher in Philly.
We are headed to New Zealand! During our time on New Zealand’s South Island, we will practice astrophotography at two Dark Sky Reserve locations, explore the Southern Alps, take a Lord of the Rings Middle Earth tour and learn filming techniques on location, practice time-lapse photography at Lake Tekapo, hike Aoraki Mt Cook and its glaciers, visit beautiful Lake Wanaka, trek the giant's gate at Fiordland National Park, a UNESCO heritage site, and cruise the fjords of Milford Sound.
