Hazelwood Brewery
Hazelwood Beverage Company operating as the Hazelwood Brewery in Pittsburgh, PA began in 1905.

The site Is now called the “Hazelwood Brew House” and includes multiple bars on th

Yesterday was a day of checking things off the "To Do List". Matter of fact, so have been the weeks and months before now. Karen Post and David Kahley, the CFO and CEO of The Progress Fund spent the day taking care of the task list as the developer and owner of the Hazelwood Brew House property. Pictured here are Karen and David in the middle, Jason and Chris from Abstract Realm Brewing on the left side, and Tom, Dan and Nick from New France Brewing in the back row. And if you're wondering, yes the beer in our hands is really well-made and tasty. Bonafide Beer Co.
A great view just got better. Yesterday, with the help of ACE Industries, we set up our SeeCoast tower viewer on the roof deck of the brew house. It pulls views even closer of Oakland and the hawks across the river. A shiny quarter isn't needed...it's free and part of the fun of the brew house. But remember to share it with the kids standing behind you in line. The Progress Fund Bonafide Beer Co.
On Saturday, June 1, two of the Brewers, Abstract Realm Brewing and New France Brewing, opened up for a "family and friends" event. This was an invitation only gathering to sell a few beers and test the taps and the point of sale equipment. A "sneak peek" event is planned for about two weeks out and the full public opening mid to late June. Stay tuned for more details.
Someone to talk with in the elevator up to the taproom and rooftop. We are opening in June. Stay tuned for updates.

Unwrapped and assembled.
All three Brewers are now installing the insulated piping for the glycol system, which will chill the fermenters and six big walk-in coolers. It's a flurry of activity there now. We are working toward an early May soft opening.
