Last days of Mani peace wall carving. A very joyous practice of imbuing stones with the mani essence making them into powerful jewels of benevolence.
We have now finished over one hundred beautiful mani stones and started the stacking process. There are still many works to complete such as finishing the retaining wall, installing the two end mani prayer wheels and adding railings to the stairway and fixing the stairs. Those wishing to help us manifest these elements please visit:

UPDATE: All the Nad Jom Mantra Wheels have now been claimed. We are very grateful for your generous support and we have now reached our funding goal for this project 🎉💐

There are literally thousands of extraordinary skillful means within the Vajrayana present to assure that the students and teachings meet with sufficient favorable and supportive circumstances while we’re on the path. Diseases, the five poisons of mind, elemental imbalances, disturbed environmental spirits and dön all affect our lives invisibly.
The nadjom wheel from Ju Mipham Rinpoche’s great mantra compendium is one of the most comprehensive methods to purify all these influences. Although not very well known, and extremely rare, lama Rangbar has gone to great lengths over many years to make two of these water powered wheels for TKL and for the homes and places of practitioners as well.
Help support this meaningful and powerful project today as for only a short time more, those offering $500 will receive a nadjom mantra wheel which can be turned by an electrically powered turntable ( approximately $20-$25 extra). Overseas shipping will be added as per actual. Only four wheels now remain and these will not be made again in the future as they are specifically related to support the completion of this meaningful project.

“I’d like people to consider the obvious. These days, and maybe since forever, the political process is largely based on fear far more than hope although both tactics are used to trap your mind. If you realize that the person next to you is a pathological liar or deeply deluded, then the conversation should be a very short one if you wish to retain your dignity. Similarly, considering the fact that killing external enemies simply leads to more suffering even when done in the name of security, we should consider what the true medicine might actually be for our situation. Attending practices and working on one’s own inner landscape with like minded people who realize that the key to peace is not found in external battles, is an excellent start.
For those who feel connected and can extrapolate that at these times we find ourselves in, intensive concentrated practice is a big key in reducing negativity in our lives and for all beings, for those of you who see the weight of the situation as pointed out by many great masters, consider the following opportunity.”

Dear Bodhivastu Sangha Members and Friends,
How can we truly build peace? Building peace must have both inner and outer aspects. Truth be told, there is no intrinsic difference between the two, therefore actions taken towards pure peace outwardly, generate peace inwardly and vise versa.
One of the most beautiful lasting traditions of the Tibetan and Himalayan region is that of making Mani Mantra walls which liberate upon touch, sight, and by performing circumambulations. The Mani stone and Mani wall tradition was made famous by Queen Bhrikuti, the wife and consort of Songtsen Gampo (Tibetan: སྲོང་བཙན་སྒམ་པོ) who was the 33rd Tibetan king and founder of the Tibetan Empire. He was a major historical figure credited with the introduction of Buddhism to Tibet, influenced by his Nepali consort Bhrikuti, of Nepal's Licchavi dynasty.
Join us
From June 8th - 12th come, stay, and participate with us in constructing the East Coast’s first Mani Wall. Inspired and blessed by the Venerable Bhakha Tulku Rinpoche, this Mani Wall’s foundation and roof are completed and only awaits for us to carve many more mani stones for placement within. Come and carve your mani stones or offer your support for materials and the volunteers making the stones. Your support is your vote for inner and outer peace manifested by the completion of the project.
☮️ To see recent updates, visuals and insights in what needs completing, please visit: https://www.bodhivastu.org/mani-peace-wall
Participants will be guided in the calligraphy by Alex Kalijian who is fully trained by Bhakha Tulku Rinpoche in carving the most beautiful mantras.
“There is something extremely satisfying about carving a mani mantra into solid stone or supporting artisans to do so. Since most everyone tends to believe in substances, there is great satisfaction in carving and placing an actual mani stone into a wall that will last and be venerated generating merit for generations.”

You can come one or more of all the days but please commit now so we can plan on food and lodging for participants.

Those who have participated in Lama Rangbar’s Orgyen Khandro Norlha teachings and have made wealth vases both in the USA and throughout Europe, can empower or recharge their vases freshly once again.
Dear Bodhivastu Sangha Members and Friends,
These days many people are suffering from poverty, want, obstacles and undesirable circumstances. This is largely due to a lack in one's accumulation of merit energy. When our merit energy base is low, when our minds are tight and miserly, we in turn experience many circumstances in our outer world that arise as suffering. By practicing the Wisdom wheel of offerings of Orgyen Khandro Norlha, which is the outer form of Guru Rinpoche, one's outer circumstances can be greatly improved by the strength of one's accumulation of merit and wisdom.
From a Buddhist perspective, poverty is a kind of obscuration of our natural inherent wealth. Therefore, the replenishment of our wealth is in our own hands. We must have a sufficient accumulation of merit both individually as well as collectively so that wealth and richness manifests and displays in our lives.
One of the fastest ways to accumulate the merit which showers down wealth has been revealed within the Dudjom Tersar tradition: The profound treasure of Orgyen Khandro Norlha which rains down a fertile shower of wealth and prosperity on anyone who enters the practice.
It should be understood that it is by making and releasing of offerings both on material and imaginary levels that actual results are realized and manifested from the altruistic generosity and resulting accumulation of ordinary and wisdom merit.
You can join the tsok by sending your offerings for tsok items and lamas in advance. Sponsors names will be read out loud for purposes of dedication of the merit.
As always, no one will be turned away from any of Bodhivastu's events due to a lack of funds.

At both TKL and Dudjom Ngakdra Labrang we are always performing daily Riwo Sangchod each morning and Dharma protectors each evening. We also offer food to birds. These are opportunities to join into the stream of merit. It really doesn’t matter the amount you offer as long as there some feeling of release or contribution to tie into the wisdom merit energy.
People across Tibet and the Himalayas always tie themselves into these activities by making small daily offerings.
If you’d like to contribute to this on a one time or recurring basis, please go to:
https://www.bodhivastu.org/support-us
Please make sure to mention daily offerings or sang when checking out. You can even do a ten dollar monthly recurring donation for example. Then, whenever you think of it, tie your meditation into that generosity and dedicate the merit from your side also to increase it.

Aspiration prayers made around Lugyal Pemai Podrang the lotus palace of Vishnu at Trinlay Khachöd Ling. As usual it rains every time we do these things but it’s a good sign after all.
Launching lanterns filled up with aspiration prayers onto the ocean of possibilities
In Nepal, Lord Buddha’s birthday, (Buddha Jayanti) is celebrated by washing Baby Buddha, welcoming him into this world. This is typically followed by the launching of aspiration lights on a banana leaf boat onto a stream, river or body of water. Although at Trinlay Khachod Ling, this is typically met with a deluge of rain or excitement of the Nagas, after the downpour , we snuck out again to offer again. Floating lanterns were offered by all present and for each of those supporters and groups that couldn’t attend in person such as Rigdzin and Helena, Marcus and Barbara, Michaela and Volker, and many others.
This occasion was proof that a Buddha field can be generated by those with faith in the Dharma.

Join us this summer for the first East Coast Vajrakilaya Drupchen with Tulku Thadral Rinpoche, Lama Rangbar Nyima Özer, and Chogtrul Rahula Rinpoche.
Drupchens are intensive practice sessions which typically run for a period of seven to fourteen days and continue all day long. These intensive and condensed practice situations offer practitioners profound accomplishments and present a rare opportunity for making great and indelible strides in our personal energy, understanding levels, and general evolution. It is said that with proper focus drupchens can bring about the same accomplishment as a three year retreat.
Generating the circumstances that make a Drupchen possible is always challenging, especially in the USA. This is why the opportunity is an extremely rare one, not to be taken casually.
We intend on performing this practice over a ten day period flanked on both ends by mandala preparation and disassembly and dedication.

“If when doing ta***ic practices the accomplishment of worldly concerns starts to become your barometer of success, this is the time you must generate great compassion by focusing on Chenrezig or Nyungne practice to stop your entire path from going to hell in a hand basket.“
