Our program is focused on preparing students for American university life and academic rigor. And we have a lot of fun along the way!

Harborside's late summer landscaping doesn't disappoint 🌺

Shout out to our amazing ELCA volunteers, who removed 80lbs of waste from the shoreline (mostly plastic but all kinds of stuff including an HMS Gaspee ship banner 🥤 💉💳 😱❓) near JWU's Harborside on behalf of neighbor organization ...Temps were sweltering 🥵 but the STB team said we were some of the most efficient workers ever!!! Way to go ELCA and a great reminder to reduce-reuse-recycle ♻️ all our single-use plastics!!!

Our ESL program is not all verb tenses and vocab lists. We're developing our English as we think about the skills that are essential for higher ed, career, and life!

So much fun to explore the Providence Public Library...JWU students have access to amazing information resources on and off campus 📚 🌎 🤓 PPL is a short walk from our Downcity campus and blends historic character with modern revival. You'll find new study corners, changing art exhibits, an open arts space, special events, and coming soon...a café! ☕
