The Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians was recently awarded $5 million as part of the EPA’s Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program to implement zero-emission vehicles and clean transportation infrastructure! Participants are learning to calculate electrical energy and power, size system components, design configurations for solar equipment, and more. The Q2 2024 50 States of Electric Vehicles Report has just been released! The report finds that 41 states, plus D.C. and Puerto Rico took actions related to electric vehicles and charging infrastructure during Q2, and 29 states have enacted legislation related to transportation electrification so far this year.
