Katharine Berkoff takes BRONZE for her first Olympic medal! 🇺🇸🥉

Things are going swimmingly for NC State College of Natural Resources graduate student Katharine Berkoff! Katharine made a powerful entrance in her Olympic debut on Monday morning, clocking in at 57.99 seconds in the preliminary heats of the women’s 100-meter backstroke. Follow Katharine's journey along with eleven other future, current and former NC State University student-athletes at the Paris 2024 Olympics. 🏊‍♂️🥇🐺🐾

Another Dozen Wolfpack Olympians NC State will send 12 future, current and former student-athletes to the 2024 Paris Olympics. In addition, the Wolfpack will send two coaches as part of the U.S. men’s and women’s swimming teams.

Meet Saeid from Iran. Saeid will pursue his Ph.D. in operations research and collaborate with brilliant minds at NC State to contribute to innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

Meet Elin Ranjan Das from Bangladesh. Elin is going to pursue his doctorate degree in electrical engineering at the College of Engineering. Elin is looking forward to volunteering at the art museum and mentoring his peers in their education.

When it comes to data, NC State Statistics student Adira Cohen is no stranger to coding and modeling. Adira is a second-year NC State Ph.D. student in Statistics with a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. A Summer at the Museum: Adira Cohen Adira Cohen is a second-year PhD student in the Statistics Department at NC State University. In the spring, Adira was offered the Summer One Health Internship on Wildlife Health at the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.

Students in our Professional Development Advanced Teaching Certificate program facilitated by the Director of Teaching, Dr. Phil Tietjen are having critical conversations about “What AI can teach educators about deep learning.”

Meet Minh Mai from Vietnam, Minh is going to pursue a master's degree in landscape architecture at NC State College of Design and share his goal of creating sustainable landscapes for the community.
