So special to teach a course with my good friend (of over 20 years!) in the front row. it has been so wonderful to see you and download our lives to each other these past few days. It felt like not one day has passed. I’m going to hate to say good bye.

Day 2 of M3 at in the books. This group 😍! I’m in awe of their diligence and passion to understand their clients sensory makeup that supports their access to meaningful participation daily life.

So excited to teach Module 3 at in Massachusetts. Looking forward to 4 days of diving deep and sharpening SI assessment skills with the EASI. What a great start with a yummy gift basket and social hours planned! Cannot wait to meet everyone!!

The therapist using an ASI approach is focused on collaborating with the child. Their aim is to find the moment when the child’s responses indicate they have found the just right challenge. In other words, the child’s sensory and motor responses have organized themselves to drive the child towards a more mature and fulfilling activity. At this point, the child takes the lead and the therapist collaborates to sustain the play that will guide the child to higher development.
