A few highlights from Alpha Xi Delta's philanthropy efforts this week. You could either cuddle up with a furry friend in their "Kisses for a Kause" campaign, hit someone in the face with a pie at their "Pie a Xi" event or pick up lunch at Hibachi Box. All was in an effort to raise money and awareness for Autism Speaks. Great job ladies!

Requesting Participation in a Doctoral Student Dissertation Study
Description: This study consists of an online survey of questions related to opinions, thoughts, and beliefs about HIV testing. This survey also contains questions pertaining to gender beliefs, health behaviors, and sexual behaviors.
Eligibility: Women between the ages of 18-24 who self-identify as Black/African American may qualify for this study.
Time: The survey takes about 25 minutes to complete.
Gift card drawing: Five participants will be randomly selected to receive an online gift card - 5 prizes, total; 4 are $100 and 1 is $200

This Thanksgiving, celebrate the season by donating non-perishable food items to the inaugural partnership between the VCU Student Government Association and the City of Richmond project, Ramsgiving. Ramsgiving is a two-week campus wide donation drive that begins November 6th and continues through November 20th. Beneficiaries of the collected non-perishable food items are: the Ram Pantry, FeedMore of Richmond, and community public housing.
Donation receptacles will be located across the Monroe Park campus and MCV campus. Boxes can be found specifically in: VCU Libraries, VCU Siegel Center, Shafer Dining Hall, Jonahs Dining Hall, VCU Cary Street Gym, VCU Police Department, VCU Alumni Association Department, Richmond City Hall- City Councilwoman Newbille’s office (3rd floor), VCU Student Government Association office, and select VCU academic departments.
