The goal of First Year Programs is to empower first year students to persist to graduation. Orientation is required for all new freshmen. What Is Orientation?
During Orientation you will:
-Meet with faculty, staff, and student advisors
-Acquaint yourself with Eastern's campus and services
-Register for your first semester courses
-Once you are admitted to EKU, you will receive a letter inviting you to register for an Orientation session. You must attend Orientation on the campus where you will be taking classes. The Orientation Program:

If you missed pre-registration for Family Weekend, we will be offering onsite registration beginning on Saturday at 1 pm in the Fitness and Wellness Center parking lot as supplies last! Please see familyweekend.eku.edu for a complete Family weekend schedule.
City Fest is happening tonight at Powell beginning at 5 pm. Local businesses, community groups and EKU departments will showcase their products and services. Learn about local resources, EKU student organizations and how you can get involved on campus and in the community.

Welcome to campus New Students!
After we kick off with Move-In-Mania activities today and Saturday, Sunday is the official start of the 2014-2015 Academic Year!
To get started on the right foot, be sure to attend the New Colonel Celebration at the EKU Center for the Arts, next to Keene Hall. Events include: New Student Convocation, concert by "Mountain Heart", and Cookout. Come out for free food, giveaways, music, information from Campus Departments, and pump up your Colonel Pride!
