Hello everyone! It's Johann, and I just want to share a little list of information that would be useful for tomorrow and they days to come.
1. Our meeting on Thursday is actually club row so people should stop by the booth to say hello instead of meeting in Drescher 222. Along with seeing us, you can buy Jamba Juice! If anyone wants to volunteer/ help decorate the booth to let us know asap!!
2. Our next actual meeting will be on Nov. 12th. Write that down!
3. We still need volunteers for the Halloween trick or treat event at school which will be from 10-1 at SMC this SUNDAY! If interested, please reply :)
4. We will be visiting a Ucla lab/ attend a research panel on Friday Nov. 6th the panel will be from 12:30-1:30 and then we'll get a brief tour of the labs so if anyone is interested in that to send us a message with the subject line. This is your opportunity to see first hand how research work looks!
5. If you're interested in joining Psi Beta, send us your transcript with the word transcript on the subject line so we can approve your 3.2 GPA requirement.

It's not what we want, but to make things better this Thursday Psi Beta will be having its second meeting at Drescher 222 from 11:15 - beyond. Hello everyone! Unfortunately there was a mixup and the room we have reserved for our scheduled meetings on Thursday was double booked with another presenter not associated with the club. We will be meeting by the clock tower in between the SCI building and L & S building.
This week we will be having our general meeting on Thursday in SCI 153 during the activity hour. It will be a brief meeting on what's going on and signups for events. For those of you in the research committe please go to the conference room. You will be briefed on club events there and can work on your research project. This upcoming Thursday we will be having the one of the student representatives of The Undergraduate Journal of Psychology at UCLA to speak about their organization.
The purpose of their group is to promote and disseminate student excellence in psychological research. They also review researches from undergraduate students and they will be published. If you are interested in doing research, I believe this would be a informational talk for you guys.
