We all know that Black, Indigenous, Latino and other communities of color face disproportionate levels of poverty and food insecurity because of historic and systemic racism. Over the last few years, it’s only exacerbated those inequities due to inflation.
To help boost resources to combat food insecurity, United Way is supporting the Food Justice Collaborative, which is a network of community of color-based food providers that work to evolve the emergency food system.
