JUNE GENERAL MEETING
Date: Wednesday, June 15, 2022
Location: Zoom and Darcy's
Time: 7:00 PM PDT
Topic: All about Airplanes and Drones.
Our speaker, Ike Isaacson, serves as a volunteer FAA Safety Team Representative who specializes in pilot and drone operations. He holds both a private pilot and UAV certificate. Ike was previously an aircraft and nuclear missile mechanic and flew over 6000 hours in the KC 135 Stratotanker as a boom operator.
Ike will have plenty of “sea stories” to share with our chapter as his presentation will take a deep dive into drones and how they fit into the airspace shared with general aviation aircraft. He will discuss and share videos on the rapidly changing technologies that have been incorporated into the recreational, commercial, and a glimpse into the military use of drones and how drones affect out daily lives.
This event is approved for Wings Credit to register for credit please register on faasafety.gov

The WPA Spokane Chapter is happy to announce as we close out the first half of 2022 that in the Spokane District, 97 pilots have completed various Wings phases, including Basic, Advanced, and Master. We would like to applaud these pilots for their commitment to furthering their aviation education and their commitment to general aviation safety!
For more information about the Wings program, please see:
