Today we started our celebration week for our Vet Technicians! Follow along this week as we continue to honor our amazing techs!

Our AMAZING veterinary assistant and sonographer has been with us for 15 years! She provides so much support to our doctors and staff and EXCEPTIONAL patient care!

We will be closing at 12:00 pm today to allow our staff some much needed rest and time with families.
Normal business hours will resume on Monday morning

Finishing up veterinary technician week, our staff will be enjoying some R&R while our doctors gain some knowledge at a radilolgy conference.
We will resume normal business hours on Monday October 24th.
We will still be reading teleradiology reports, with the exception of STAT's.

On day 3 of Vet Tech week our staff enjoyed some coffee and snacks! ☕
All of our technical staff are trained in obtaining radiographs but also CT imaging.

Our senior staff members of assistants and technicians become trained in ultrasonograpgy as well. With our team of doctors overseeing their growth providing guidance.

Our technicians and assistants are the ones that lift the heavy dogs and keep everyone from getting bit or scratched. they also keep the pets calm and comfortable while getting their ultrasounds, radiographs and safe under anesthesia for CT's.

Today starts the celebration for national veterinary technician week. We are recognizing the hard work and care that our technicians, but also veterinary assistants provide for our patients and clients.

Our doctors wouldn't be able to perform their dedicated work without the support and attentiveness of our technicians and assistants who advocate, closely watch over and communicate for our patients and clients.

When our patients come in for our services it is the goal of our staff to care for them as if they were our own pet.

Today was a build your own yeti bar with socks, bath bombs, lip balms and hand lotions.
As always here we have some delicious snacks available.

Our 2nd year radiology resident is now certified for PennHIP and we are scheduling these exams. Reach out to us for answers to any questions about this exam and how it can help.

We are hiring for an LVT to join our growing practice.

IEVI specializes in diagnostic imaging, so knowledge of CT, radiograph, and ultrasound procedures is a huge plus.

The right candidate will have a few years of experience and exhibit professionalism and compassion. A license is also required for this position. We will consider applicants on a case by case basis that are in school/training to be an LVT. This posting is not open to assistants.

Expected duties include, but are not limited to:
- Proper animal restraint
- Drug administration – SQ/IM/IV
- Anesthetic procedure prep/monitoring start to finish
- Blood draws and running blood work
- Assist with all diagnostic imaging procedures
- Operate typical clinic equipment: fluid pumps, monitors, in house lab equipment, etc.
- Perform TPR’s, assessing patients, assist in emergencies including CPR, monitor critical patients
- Prepare laboratory samples for Zoetis, Lacuna, & CSU
- Medical charting, maintain logs, and telemedicine
- Maintain a clean and efficient work environment
- Client education

Additional expectations may include, but are not limited to:
- Answering the phones: take messages, make appointments, communicate with clients, etc.
- Staying late past your “clock-out” time
- Maintaining a good attitude in a very busy work environment
