🥰Feeling grateful!🥰

This past week Deanna Truax-Hanley, one of our valued community partners, made us her charity of choice and presented us with a generous donation to support the work we do. Donations like this enables us to continue providing much needed resources and services to those with autism and other developmental disabilities, thank you Deanna for helping us make a positive difference in our community! 🙏💗

We are committed to providing community resources and training, and recently two members of our team, Jamie Aronson and Janelle Eberhard, LBA were members of the 2024 LEND cohort through the University of Washington.

Over the course of the last 10 months, they collaborated with other trainees across a wide variety of disciplines all with the goal of contributing research to the field of autism and developmental disabilities. Jamie and Janelle's project was truly extraordinary. Their goal is to create a user-friendly, searchable database to assist families with identifying the care they need in their community. First of it's kind, this database would combine not just medical providers, but also housing, clothing, food scarcity resources, etc. to break down further barriers that families experience in accessing care.

Their project was met with incredible enthusiasm and support! Great work!

If you are a community organization interested in having our team make a presentation on these and other similar topics, we'd love to hear from you! Simply visit: https://www.nwautism.org/autism-treatment/education-training-for-schools-and-the-community/ to sign up today!
