Feyre, one of our parvovirus survivors, has been receiving weekly acupuncture treatments for the past few months to help with the mobility in her legs. This incredibly resilient pup has improved leaps and bounds since she began her treatments. She's standing up on her own and running around, full of puppy energy. The best part, her incredible foster family decided to adopt her! Congrats Feyre on finding your furever home! 🥳🐾

When Gambino came into our care, his eye was sealed shut with puss and he was malnourished and dehydrated. He was diagnosed with an upper respiratory infection and conjunctivitis and was immediately placed with a foster so he could heal in a calm environment. Gambino's incredible foster worked diligently to care for him, syringe feeding him multiple times a day to make sure he was eating.

Now, two months since Gambino arrived at our shelter, he has made a full recovery! Look at what a happy, healthy kitty he is. We are so grateful for our clinic team and our fosters who selflessly save the lives of animals in need, ensuring that they can find forever homes and get a second chance at a better life.

Meet Koda! It's hard to not fall in love with this adorable face, yet Koda here has been at our shelter for over 300 days. This loving, intelligent pup enjoys long walks, lots of treats, and of course, all the cuddles he can get. Koda can become overstimulated easily, especially around other dogs and toys. Koda loves to be the star of the show and needs to go to a home where he is the only animal around. He knows his furever home is out there, could it be with you?

Meet Dr. Pepper! This energetic and playful pup has been with us for over 400 days. Dr. Pepper loves to run, and boy is he fast! He would make the perfect hiking and adventure dog. This five-year-old mixed-breed loves to be the star of the show and would thrive in an environment where he is the only animal around. He can become overstimulated easily, especially around other dogs. He's looking for a dog-savvy owner who can help him become his best self!

Since 2014, Petco Love has provided life-saving funds to Spokane Humane Society, helping us give countless animals like Jonah here the care they need while finding them loving homes. For over a decade, we have been grateful for your support.

On July 3rd, we welcomed seven kittens from a partner rescue. These tiny kittens all suffer from untreated upper respiratory infections (URI) which spread to their eyes, causing severe damage to their eyesight. Our incredible clinic team is working diligently to save as many tiny eyes as possible, but sadly, many of them will need to be removed.

In the meantime, these seven babies have been placed in fosters so they can rest and heal in peace.
