One of our programs is Project Open Door. We aim to provide housing first solutions to people living with HIV/AIDS. With housing also comes access to wrap around care solutions for residents.

AHAT Homecare provides help to people with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C in Washington State. We offer affordable housing and access to healthcare for residents and the community in three programs – Three Cedars, Project Open Door and Healthy Living.

AHAT Homecare's Project Open Door program focuses on moving chronically homeless individuals into safe, affordable housing in Tacoma and Fircrest.

Through Project Open Door residents receive:
+intensive case management
+chemical dependency group support
+life-skill training
+mental health services
+nutritional education

Today, AHAT oversees the daily operations of Project Open Door. This program is part of the continuum of care for homelessness in Pierce County.
