Please help us congratulate our very own, Elizabeth Rudisill, who won the Star Award for Special Achievement.
"Elizabeth quickly became an integral part of the team. Her remarkable initiative allowed her to hit the ground running, and she didn't wait for instructions. She immersed herself in the role, asking pertinent questions to orient herself, and has maintained this proactive approach ever since. Elizabeth consistently demonstrates the same level of initiative when aiding students and supporting colleagues. Elizabeth remains unwaveringly ready to assist, and we are fortunate to have such a star on our team."
We are so happy to have Elizabeth as a part of the OAS team!

“Shamu has a huge personality and frequently speaks his mind via chirps/meows/chatters to me and my roommates.” ~ Shamu’s parent 🐱💕
“This is Fly, full name Firefly. She is always willing to go on an adventure with me or to sleep it off. She keeps me company on everything from trail runs, ski trips, and mountain bike rides to backpacks and canyoneering trips. I work at a domestic violence center, and she extends her compassion to my clients while providing the appropriate amount of disdain for the sitting through board meetings with me. She really likes tortilla chips and is so forgiving. “ ~ Fly’s parent 🐶💕
“My cat's name is Kira (キラ).
The thing I love most: When I first got Kira, he climbed into my lap and stayed there for a long time. Ever since he was a kitten, he always needed to be close to me. Even when he wants his space, he still sits where he can see me in the house. I am thankful every day that my doctor suggested an emotional support animal. Kira is my biggest support, and he definitely helps me feel loved with his sassy attitude and big personality. “ ~ Kira’s parent 🐱💕
“This is my ESA dog, Max.
Max loves to cuddle and will nudge me when he wants attention which often reminds me to take mental breaks from school work.” ~ Max’s parent 🐶💕
“This is Delilah my ESA cat, I love that she always wants to play, and sit on landis. She enjoys sitting on landis in the fall months accompanying me with my homework, and enjoys students passing by petting her.” ~ Delilah’s parent 🐱💕
“This is Cleopatra Phoenix, Cleo for short. It is coming up on her one-year “gotcha day” on October 28. She is a rescue, so she is still very stand-off-ish, but once in a while, she will sit in front of me and reach out with one paw to touch me. Her own boundaries are there, but she is showing she cares.” ~ Cleo’s parent 🐱💕
The OAS is proud to wear purple to show our support of FSU VAP and the Domestic Violence Awareness campaign.
“This is my ESA. His name is Shadow, and my favorite thing is that he keeps me grounded. When I'm having a bad day, he provides endless cuddles and forces me to get out of bed to take care of him. He is the biggest ball of light and never fails to put a smile on my face.” ~ Shadow’s parent 🐶💕
