Faith Food Fridays will be at the 7 Generations Big Time and Pow Wow on Saturday July 27th and Sunday July 28th.

We need YOU! For our 4th of July festivities:;

* Help decorate our float on Wednesday 7/3 at 826 Solano Ave. and Thursday morning at the parade line up site.

* Walk the parade route (or ride on the float), handing out candy and fliers.

* Help prep for and/or serve at our BBQ after the parade at 826 Solano Ave.

Basically, it's just an all day FUN DAY of activities and festivities while we celebrate our country's birthday.

We got this SUPER COOL donation of the SPANISH verion of the "We Are Not Really Strangers" card game. It's a game for grownups to ask fun questions and learn more about each other.

We'll be handing them out during our distribution on Friday June 28th. FUN!

Please help us relocate a bee hive!

We discovered a large bee colony in the front wall of our building. A Bee keeper estimates it contains about 60,000 bees and will require extensive work to remove it and make sure it doesn't return.

It's quite expensive and so we're asking for your help! Donate any amount and we can ensure that both the bees and those who come to us for food remain safe.

Faith Food Fridays is excited to be one of the 40+ community organizations receiving part of the $500,000 in initial grants for Solano non-profits as part of the East Solano Plan. We plan to use this money to purchase healthy foods for our community members, families and children experiencing food insecurity.

City of Vallejo to Open Warming Center 2/18-2/20/24

Vallejo, CA - The City of Vallejo will be opening the Warming Center beginning tonight, Sunday February 18 through Tuesday, February 20 in the Vallejo Room due to the anticipated floods.

The Warming Center hours will be open 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day.
