The Ventura County Long Term Care Ombudsman Program is seeking compassionate volunteers to advocate for elderly residents in nursing homes. Long-Term Care Ombudsman Programs investigate over 10,000 reports of elder and dependent adult and abuse in long-term care facilities in California every year.
Call your legislators (https://findyourrep.legislature.ca.gov/) and the Governor (916-445-2841) to tell them:
“Keep funding for our Long-Term Care Ombudsman Programs in the 2024 Budget Act”
