We had 25 candidates attend the two day on-snow selection process and were impressed by the energy, collaboration, and efforts of all!

Day 2 back at it. Working on clear communication, saying what it is and when, and making sure I see what you see and vice versa. And building our SnowSports community, “rising tide lifts all boats”, together.

Thanks to all of our trainers, Ed Staff, and school directors for helping us start the season off with some great energy! Three days of catching up, great conversations, and sessions covering all parts of the Learning Connection Model (teaching, people, and technical skills) has us excited to continue the momentum into the season. Fall is almost here, and the PSIA-NW Alpine Tech Team is busy preparing for the 23-24 Season! They spent the last two days collaborating and aligning on content for the NW Trainer Series, Fall Training, and Ed Staff Training and are excited to officially kick off the season in October with our packed calendar of events.

How often does a sports shop shut down to support SnowSports instructors in their education? And have a boot fitting session with a master boot fitter? We aren’t sure but the 2023 Women’s Summit did! Gratitude to our partners in the industry, the event would not be off the charts as much without their support

The start of the season is here and the event you've been patiently waiting for, and we are excited to announce that registration for Fall Seminar 2022 is live! Please mark October 22nd on your calendars, and go to psia-nw.org > "Events" to sign up.
Based on positive feedback from last year, we've decided to hold Fall Seminar virtually again. We have another great selection of multi-discipline sessions lined up for you. As always, this is a great way to kick off the upcoming season and get to see other NW members in the process.
We look forward to seeing you all during our first event of the 22-23 season!
Free your mind! We are running back to back Telemark movement analysis 101 and 201 courses starting at the end of this month. Stay connected with your SnowSports family and build your MA skills at the same time. Completions of 101 is a prerequisite for 201 (discipline specific). Register now at PSIA-NW.org - events to join the 4-week session. Classes are Wednesday evenings.
Just because the season is over doesn't mean your training has to be. We are running another MA 201 course starting at the end of this month. Through rain, wind, more rain, (buckets of it) and snow, the Technical Team Tryouts were held. We are so blessed to have such a dedicated group of professionals who continue to inspire us. We watched this group bond and encourage one another to do their best and put it all out there. Thankful for the support staff!
