As EMS Week comes to an end don't forget that we must take care of ourselves first & foremost. We all have a “game face” to cover up the chaos & push past a terrible situation. The time will come that the facade crumbles & we will have to relive the moment & grieve. EMS is a rewarding field, but also physically & mentally challenging. Just because you're not experiencing any psychological disturbances now does not mean you shouldn't work to remain healthy. There's no shame in reaching out for help in healing & talking to someone about what is going on if you are struggling. Stay safe out there everyone!!! 🚓🚑🚒
