Happy Birthday to Banzi & Nushka on their 13th birthday today 🎉🎁 These two siblings lived together for many of their first years but then life took them in different directions due to their behavior and personality.
Nushka is one of our ambassadors as she didn’t like the rehabilitation process where she had very little human contact to become less habituated. She wanted to come back with us instead and live the easy life ☀️🍰 Banzi was happy to become more wild and later met a wild female of which he had 3 litters of cubs! Go Banzi ⚡️ .

Our Story
The Western Cape Cheetah Conservation (WCCC) aims to rehabilitate cheetahs while enabling these graceful creatures to live in their natural environment.
Loss of habitat and inter-breeding have led to a vast decline in their population.
By implementing specialised breeding programmes and raising awareness, the WCCC aims to rescue and rehabilitate cheetahs. The programmes involve pairing up unrelated cheetahs in an effort to retain the widest possible range of genes in the cheetah gene pool.
Guests are able to view wild cheetahs on safari, observe them go through their daily exercises and gain further insight – all in an enduring hope to save the cheetah.
