A little while ago we did paw print painting with some of the rescues and auctioned them off which were bought and framed and then re-auctioned by KDogsz at an event they held. And the set sold for an amazing R6500 🤩 which was paid directly into our Malmesbury Vet account. How do we begin to thank you for your incredible kindness and always thinking of the rescues. # # #

Cape Town - I'm going to love you twice of forever and then once around the moon, and when we've gotten that far. I'm going to start all again.

And this is no joke, not one word of a lie, POPPY honestly is just that loving. It's a love like no other, that I'm really struggling to put into words. Spending time with her makes you feel utterly adored, the way she looks at you with those gorgeous, adoring eyes, how she'll lean in close for a cuddle, how she'll sit quietly next to you and just enjoy the closeness of the moment.

4 year old Poppy thoroughly enjoys a game of fetch, honestly whatever activity it is she'll enjoy it as long as she's doing it with you 😊 a hike, beach walk, mountain climbing, you name it...!!

With a proper introduction POPPY could get on with a friendly male fur-panion to spend time with, do life with and chill with.

What a wonderful way to start a Friday 🤩 two Takealot deliveries of tins, snacks and treats! Thank you so much.

With your incredible support that honestly has us blown away....we placed an order with Montego for 60 x 6 packs of the 820g. That's a whopping 360 tins!!! We can't thank you enough, this means everything!!!! A few more donations came in after ordering, these will be 'banked' and used to top up on a few tins while we wait for our delivery.

Cape Town - Going on 4 month old Burke is up for adoption but please take note of the following:

He will not be rehomed to multiple dog homes. One social (sterilized) female friend.

Minimum of 1.8m high walls.

Not visible from the street please.

And no cats or small breed dogs.

We had a company donating tins for the rescues but sadly we haven't received in months! And have been buying a few here and there so see us through another week.

Pellets we very gratefully have so the rescues are all still getting their 2 meals a day but they so enjoy their 'gravy' over their food. We only use about 4 tins once a day (at supper time) for all 50 dogs and mix it up with some water and then drizzle it over the pellets, we know it's not a must have, its just a little something extra for our pooches we like to give them while they wait for their perfect forever.

If you'd like to give a little something, even just a R10 we'd really appreciate it. All adds up 🙏 and we'll go do the shopping. Elfie had his snuggles on today...the ultimate smooch pooch!

Cape Town - YOU will always be my forever and I'm kinda hoping I could be yours too!

Elfie's scars tell a story of a less than perfect past, but that's exactly it! It's his past and he is so ready to start a brand new and exciting chapter of his life with you -that amazing family who will show him what unconditional love is all about.

He's a let me love you to the moon and back and around again, with every fiber of my being kinda guy who has absolutely no concept of personal space, he's our Velcro boy because why would he want to be over theeeeere when you over here, it just makes no sense to him. Because right by your side is the only place he wants to be.

4 year old Elfie will honestly make the perfect addition to any family, the undying love you'll receive just cannot be put into words. He loves completely and with everything! He does need to be an only dog though and no cats!
