Another Royal show done! Very proud of our dogs and owners, fielding so many questions throughout the day. A very long day, with tired dogs and owners, a big thank you all for promoting our amazing breed so well :) Below are some photos and video of the dogs relaxing on their benches and interacting with the public :)

Happy Sunday everyone.... its that time of the year again and with such a fabulous selection of photos submitted and voting finalized we are proud to release our 2022 NCV Club calendars for presale order. Get in while you can these always go fast and start planning for an amazing 2022...

Hi everyone, just a quick heads up that to coincide with our Calendars and Christmas Bauble Fundraising this year we are also having a raffle.... Very special one off prize with more details and ticket sales to come soon so stay tuned....

Hi everyone, this year as a fundraiser the NCV has partnered with the amazing Lisa from Fancy Floofs to bring us all a bit of Christmas cheer and glittery goodness.....

Fancy Floofs will be selling custom Christmas baubles with $5 from every bauble sold going to the NCV so get in early to ensure that you get a fancy Christmas bauble with your puppers, cat or your name (cause who needs an excuse to get more than 1 right) in time to decorate your tree this year...

Pick up at club events or with food drops (or postage at cost if required)

Please do NOT enter our shows and trials if you haven't as yet. Lockdown has been extended and we are waiting for statement from DogsVIC to cancel the shows. We will be attempting to go back to our usual weekend in June. As soon as we get the official word, I'll sort out refunds.

Membership renewals to the NCV is now overdue, if you have not paid, you will be removed from the members page and if you have a breeder listing on the club website, you will be removed from there too :)

Remember when entering our shows/trial - if your dog has any 'non official' titles, shoot me a message as they will be included in the catalogue as they are recognised by the NCV :)

Whilst it is still very 'up in the air' if we will be able to hold our shows, I remind everyone that entries close on September 1st at 5pm. I MAY extend entries depending on Dan's update on the second, but urge you not to take that risk! Get your entries in! You will be refunded if the shows can not go ahead.

CALENDAR COMP TIME!
We will again be producing our calendars with photos submitted and voted on by the members as the major fundraiser for the club this year. 🙂 One new tweak so please read the rules before sending photos.
* Each current membership may enter ONE photo for the main calendar photos - so make sure you choose your favourite (Dual, family, single membership etc count as ONE membership each, not one entry per member) - membership still available via the club website if you wish to submit a photo for this calendar.
* Photos MUST be sent to [email protected] in high resolution (over 1MB) to be eligible for entry (Most smart phones take photos that will fit this criteria)
* Photos will all be added to a new voting post on September 26, you may post questions etc relating to the competition up until the end of photo submissions)
* Photos must be sent by September 24 at 5pm (so you have lots of time to go and take your perfect entry shot!)
* Voting will start on the voting thread when photos are posted on Sunday 26. Voting rules once all photos are submitted. A link to the thread will be posted to this thread as well.
* We would prefer photos not taken by professional photographers unless written permission is given for the use of the photo free from any requirements and not watermarked.
* A new addition of public holidays/themes photos are permitted as extra photos but they MUST have a Newfoundland as the main theme in the photo. The following are themes permitted and you can submit more than one theme, must be current (within two years) and have not been used before.

o Australia Day
o Valentine's Day
o St Patrick's Day
o Easter
o ANZAC Day
o Mother's Day (should include young litter)
o Queens Birthday
o Halloween
o Melbourne Cup
o Remembrance Day

This is a new addition to the NCV Calendar so please consider photos over the next 12 months for submission next year.
Pre-orders with payment will be available before the close of voting to assist the club in ordering quantities as we will be promoting across Newf sites as Christmas presents.
Due to COVID, calendars will all need to be posted so will incur a postage fee this year.
We would love to see this fundraiser well supported by all Newf lovers not just our members as we have very limited funds coming in this year so this would really help the club keep trucking along.
Orders as Christmas presents will be available, these can be Christmas wrapped, included naming card/sticker (to & from), and posted in a plain envelope to the person and address provided to orders. This will have an additional $5 charge unless postage is required if overseas. this will allow the recipient to open the envelope with a wrapped gift inside for placement straight under their tree.
