Waverley Christian College challenged themselves with some all-out physical activities (and a lot of 😂) to help them raise funds to fight child hunger.

At their 40 Hour Famine challenge event, they set up four stations, got into teams, and competed in a variety of games for points. The team that scored the most points, received an additional $100 contribution towards their 2023 fundraising goal. So, we’re sending a big congratulations from our 40 Hour Famine team to all the participants.

The top of the leader board is in sight. 🥳🎉👏🤝👍

Being courageous is a lot of work, but it means the world.🙏🏻 You can join us by heading to 40hourfamine.com.au today!

It may seem like the world has recovered from COVID-19 with people travelling and holidaying everywhere - but over the last three years, the hunger crisis has escalated into a global crisis. 🌎

In 2023, 345 million people are experiencing acute food insecurity, a continuous rise from previous years. The reasons are complex: ongoing conflicts, like the war in Ukraine, climate shocks including long-term droughts in countries including Africa and more displaced people in the world.

The hunger crisis is a children’s crisis, with millions of children around the world not knowing whether their next meal will be today, tomorrow or 3 days away.

But you can help.

Join this year’s 40 Hour Famine and help raise funds to go towards World Vision’s famine-fighting programs around the world. Let’s work together and help end child hunger.

Sign up at 40hourfamine.com.au today! 🙏
