This is for any past or present Eltham Girl Guide, inclusive of all ages, from the littlest Gumnuts to the oldest Leaders.
Thank you to the families who attended our recent AGM. Our leaders gave a heart warming account of all the wonderful things that have been going on this year at Eltham Guides. We look forward to welcoming our new members to the committee. For now a few words of thanks and gratitude from our President to our outgoing support group members.

Eltham Guides invites all our families to attend the AGM to be held on Thursday 20th June at the Guide Hall. 6.30pm prompt start with the meeting finishing at 7.00pm.
This will be an opportunity for families to hear about the role of the Support Group and nominate for one of the many positions available.

As part of our 2024 Service Project we are one again collecting new and pre-loved winter clothing in good condition for the wonderful local charity Big Group Hug. Their Winter Warmer donations drive is seeking to keep kids warm, cozy and comfy over the colder months. If you have any items you would like to donate please bring it down to the guide hall in the next few weeks. Examples of sought after donations include: Long sleeve shirts/ tops/ jumpers, long pants, coats/ jackets, scarves/ beanies, winter PJs.
Details have been sent home with your gumnut/brownie/guide/ranger guide but if you have any questions or missed out on the flyer please DM or contact your leader.

Good luck to our guides and leaders attending the North West Region Camp this weekend. We hope they mange to stay warm sleeping out in a weekend full of adventure, fun and friendship.

IWD is just around the corner, and this year, we're inviting our members (Youth and Adult) and supporters to join us in celebrating the day, by participating in a special Girl Guides Victoria IWD project.

Here at Eltham Girl Guides we have had a wonderful start to the term with lots of great activities including Shrove Tuesday pancake making then last week looking at ways to show kindness in everyday life.
Many of our guides also attended the World Thinking Day celebrations enjoying a day Craigieburn aqua park.
Last weekend we had guides attend the OarSome days on the water at Sandringham participating in canoeing, paddle boarding, sailing and dolphin education. It was a fantastic day.
February has been full of adventure, learning, and so much fun!

Summer School Holiday Program for Girls Our September School Holiday Program is the fun, nature-focused way to keep your girls occupied during the spring school holidays. Sign up for indoor and outdoor fun, including an Adventure excursion, in Mitcham. 18-22 September. Limited places.
Thank you to those families that joined us this evening for our end of year celebration, the weather was perfect and the girls all had fun doing their Christmas craft, and everyone got a lovely little gift pack.
A special thank you to all our wonderful guide leaders who give up so much of their free time throughout the year to make guides special.

Don’t forget our Nillumbik District End of Year Celebration is on this Tuesday. All Gumnuts, Brownies, Guides, Ranger Guides & Olaves and their families are invited. All girls should have received their invitation with details of times/ location/ what to bring etc. we look forward to seeing you all there!!
