*A generous donor will match all gifts received by 30 June up to the value of $10,000
Earlier this month Fight Cancer Foundation partnered with Deague Group and Kings Club Coworking to hold the inaugural $5k Hole-In-One Fundraiser at Kings Business Park.
This fundraiser saw over 100 tenants who call Kings Business Park their home, come together, participate and raise some much-needed funds to support Australian families impacted by cancer.
We are blown away by the generosity of all those who participated and donated on the day, with over $6,800 being raised! We are incredibly grateful to be part of such a wonderful community.
A huge thank you to Deague Group and Kings Club for their incredible effort and support in hosting this day, we are looking forward to many future events.
There’s still time to help Australians beat cancer… one stay at a time.
Donate before 30 June and for a short time, a generous donor will be matching every donation, dollar-for-dollar, so your gift will have twice the impact.
Stand in solidarity with Australians fighting cancer this tax-time and help us ensure they always have a home-away-from-home during treatment. https://bit.ly/44DFF9H

🌟 A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Amazing NAB Volunteers! 🌟
Yesterday, a dedicated group of Volunteers from NAB Bank came together to lend a helping hand at our BMDI Rotary House accommodation facility for our residents undergoing cancer treatment and their carers. The Volunteers compassion, energy, and hard work has made a huge difference in the lives of our residents and our wonderful staff.
Cancer treatment is a challenging journey, but with the support of our community, we can make it a little easier. Thank you to each and every Volunteer for your time, effort, and kindness. You are helping fuel the fight against cancer and truly making a positive impact! 💖
As we reflect on National Volunteer Week 2024 we would like to highlight the commitment and service of our Volunteers to Fight Cancer Foundation each and every day. It is because of our Volunteers that we can continue to build stronger communities, create meaningful change and support many Australians impacted by cancer.
We are grateful to each and everyone one of our Volunteers who are working tirelessly in our Recycle Shops and Accommodation Centres. You are helping fuel the fight against cancer, one stay at a time. Thank you for everything you do!

A grade 3 breast cancer diagnosis was the last thing that professional athlete, teacher, and mother of three, Kim, had planned for.
With six weeks of radiation ahead of her in Albury – a two-and-a-half hour round trip away from her Northern Victorian property – we thankfully found Kim a room at our Hilltop Accommodation Centre in Albury Wodonga.
With rising cost-of-living pressures, we need your help to ensure our affordable accommodation remains affordable for people like Kim.
Please make your tax-deductible donation before 30 June to ease the burden for Australians fighting cancer. https://bit.ly/44DFF9H
Cancer treatment is hard enough; but so much harder when your treatment centre is far from home.
Kim and her husband’s farm was a two-and-a-half hour round trip from Albury Wodonga Cancer Centre, where she was to receive treatment.
Thankfully, we had a room available for Kim at our Hilltop Accommodation Centre close to the Cancer Centre, but there are many people like Kim, desperate to secure a room in one of our accommodation centres.
With rising cost-of-living pressures, we need your help to ensure Australians dealing with cancer have a home-away-from-home during treatment.
Please, give as generously as you can before June 30. https://bit.ly/44DFF9H
We’re incredibly proud to welcome Her Excellency Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC, the current Governor of Victoria, as a Patron of Fight Cancer Foundation. Professor Gardner has held various leadership positions in Australian universities throughout her career, including at the University of Queensland and Griffith University. Notably, she was made an Officer of the Order of Australia in 2007, in recognition of service to tertiary education, particularly in the areas of university governance and gender equity. Her patronage directly supports the work that we do – helping Australian families impacted by cancer.

The emotional and financial toll a cancer diagnosis has on families is devastating. Those who don’t live close to a treating hospital face the added challenge of finding somewhere to live while their loved one receives and recovers from treatment.
The need for treatment is often urgent, leaving patients and parents with limited time to arrange a place to stay close to the hospital. The unknowns surrounding treatment and recovery also means families don’t know how long they will be away from home.
This is where YOU and Fight Cancers Foundations Accommodation Centres come in – giving patients and families a home-away-from-home while they navigate the emotional turmoil of fighting cancer is vital.
Your donation this Christmas could give cancer patients and their families a home-away-from-home this Christmas!

Our Founding Families began a transformational legacy over 34 years ago that continues to give hope and heart to hundreds of patients, children and families fighting cancer each year.
Kat and her brother Robbie were part of that foundation. While Robbie’s journey ended tragically, his family helped create a legacy and Robbie’s memory is treasured by all of us today.
“I feel Fight Cancer Foundation is my brother’s legacy, and all the children and adults who didn’t make it,” shares Kat.
You can help continue that legacy.
Give hope to cancer patients and their families by supporting research and home-away-from-home Accommodation Centres this Christmas.

Have you heard Karen’s amazing story of survival?
Her perfectly normal life changed forever when she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia when she was only 22.
“At that time, leukaemia was usually a death sentence. A perfect [bone marrow] match was rare – only 1 in 7 family members might be a match,” she shares.
Karen was lucky – her twin sister Michelle was a perfect match. But it was a long, hard fight to survive! Karen was in hospital for over 5 months.
Please donate today so families like Karen’s have a home-away-from-home this Christmas!
