Balwyn Judo Club was transformed for a day into a set for the motion picture "MY EYES". Should be in theatres late 2024. We all learnt what it was like to be a movie extra.
Only 3 days left to book in with Smoothcomp.
Do you want to break into the Movies?
A film company, Benevolence Pt Ltd, is making a film provisionally titled “MY EYES” with a blind judoka the protagonist. They require adult Judo extras ie 30 years or so, with a white judogi, for October 17 during the day.
Please telephone Chloe on 0401 875 875 for information.
(Genuine offer from a local movie company)
The mat cupboard is empty. The mats have been hired by a movie company making a film, working titles "My eyes" about a blind judoka. Stay on the lookout for it next year.

Ern Knoop's funeral is set for May 4 (Thursday) at 2 pm at Renowden Chapel, Springvale Botanical Cemetery, 600 Princes' Highway, Springvale. I apologise for my previous screw-up on the dates.
Would you like to have the rules nice and neat for quick reference? unlike the IJF versions. You can get Office Works or anyone with a "double sided" printer (nice if it folds and staples too) to print up a booklet of the IJF rules, the Judo Victoria Junior rules and a wire bound 2 pages at a time version of the IJF rules explanation (bigger than the rules). It can cost, but they are really nice:
