We couldn’t be prouder of our Colene who placed 3rd in her division this weekend in the Australian National Championships 2024!! She faced a gruelling 2.5 hour event, competing against 21 elite competitors from all over Australia. displaying 5 fantastic katas, walking away with a bronze medal! Keep shining Colene!! 🥉🥋💪🏽

Congratulations to Sempai’s Vijay and Tasha and to our newly appointed Sensei Hayley! Our club is so proud of you all! You have all shown resilience and courage in the face of challenges and I am extremely proud of all your strengths and determination. We are honoured and proud to have you as part of our Shoto Karate family and exemplary role models for our students, especially our females!

Black Belt ceremony will take place Tues 16th July, the first day back of Term 3 at 6pm. Everyone is invited to come and experience one of our most prestigious ceremonies.

Thank you to everyone who turned up to our Go Pink Fundraiser/Family & Friend’s night in June.

The children loved training with their family members, as did most of the parents by the look on their faces!

It was truly wonderful to see the effort everyone went to wearing pink, colouring their hair pink, and donating a pink note. A special mention to Claudia who was sick on the night but sent me a pic of her in pink at home 🥺🙏🏼!

I am so humbled to say we raised $325 on the night, $1546 in total for world-class breast cancer research to help NBCF towards their vision of Zero Deaths from breast cancer. Thank you so much for your generosity and supporting this cause so close to my heart. Feeling truly blessed ! 🙏🏼🎀.

Wishing these 3 beautiful ladies all the best on Fri night as they grade for 2nd and 3rd Dans. Everyone is welcome to come and support them from 6pm onwards at the dojo.

Shukokai Cup 2024 - today was a great day with Shoto karate walking away with 2 gold and 1 silver medals.
Results -
Colene - Elites Kata winning gold against a national champion, achieving her personal best.
Mason - gold & Kory silver fighting it out for first and second place in their Kumite division. We are so proud if you all 🙏🏼🥇🥈🥋
