In a self defence situation there's a probability you'
can trip, fall, or get dragged to the ground. In this workshop you'll learn the difference between sport ground fighting and street ground fighting. Even though a lot of the material learned is taken from combat sports, what separates what we do is the'dirty tactics' we use and the mind set.

Our Close Quarter Combat Fundamentals is approaching, February 26 10am-2pm.
The course covers a wide range of techniques, including striking, grappling, weapon defense,ground fighting, designed to help students of all levels of physical fitness and skill to defend themselves against various types of attackers. The course is designed to be accessible to anyone, regardless of prior experience or physical ability.
One of the key features of the Fundamentals course is the focus on real-world scenarios and how to handle them effectively. Students will learn how to assess and respond to a range of situations, from a sudden grab from behind to a full-blown physical attack. The course covers the use of body mechanics and leverage to maximize the effectiveness of the techniques, ensuring that even students with limited physical strength can use them effectively.
Peter Sciarra is a highly experienced and qualified instructor, with decades of experience in the field of self-defense and martial arts. He has a deep understanding of the principles of unarmed combat, and is known for his ability to convey complex concepts in a simple and easily understandable way. Peter is also highly skilled in teaching students how to integrate the techniques they learn in the course into their daily lives, making them more confident and capable of defending themselves in any situation.
