⭐️ We are excited to start building our instructor team for the 2024/2025 season! Please help us find the best instructors by sharing this post.

⭐️ The windy season will begin in Perth in OCTOBER and we are looking for legends with that little something extra to bring to the team.

We have two amazing teaching locations 🏄‍♀️ Applecross
🏄🏾‍♂️ Safety Bay

⚡️ APPLECROSS POSTIONS ⚡️
- Instructors kite only
- Instructors who can teach both kite and wing

⚡️ SAFETY BAY POSITION ⚡️
- School manager who can preferably teach both kite and wing, but please still apply if you can teach kite only

⭐️ Both spots ensure a fast and progressive learning curve for students while providing a world class training ground for experienced riders (check out the freestyle action at ‘the pond’).

⭐️ For instructors that bring their A-game we offer lots of work, a great wage and maybe best of all, a school atmosphere that you just won’t find anywhere else in Australia (which is why a lot of our instructors are back year after year, lucky there is still space for a few more)

⭐️ But what do we need of you?
- KITE OR WING INSTRUCTOR CERTIFICATION - or even better, a certification in both
- TEACHING EXPERIENCE
- THE RIGHT TO WORK IN AUSTRALIA (if you write to us asking for us to arrange a visa for you we won’t respond sorry)
- GREAT COMMAND OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE
- ABILITY TO STAY TIL END OF SEASON IN APRIL
- A REAL LOVE FOR TEACHING
- ABILITY TO WORK WELL IN A TEAM & BOOST THE TEAM TO THE NEXT LEVEL
—For the manager position, obviously great MANAGERIAL SKILLS and the ability to work INDEPENDENTLY

High flying Swart eyeing kiteboarding top 10 world ranking Great Southern kiteboarding sensation Ruben Swart, hailing from Denmark, is ready to set sail for a spot in the top 10 of the Global Kitesports Association world tour rankings.

Noah Karantonis, a dedicated 15-year-old and one of our groms with a passion for kiteboarding and kitefoiling, is about to take a significant leap at the Formula Kite Youth World Championships in Gizzeria, Italy, from July 1-7.

After countless hours of hard training, he’s ready to face off against some of the world’s best athletes in large, competitive fleets. Noah’s journey is a powerful example of how dedication and love for a sport can turn dreams into reality, inspiring young athletes everywhere to chase their own ambitions with determination and heart!! A friendly reminder to everyone, please call Marine Safety to let them know that you are safe on land if you lose your kite, wing or board out in the water! If abandoned equipment is found in the ocean with nobody attached to it, and nothing has been reported, a search and rescue is initiated to locate the missing person. One phone call could save a lot of time and resources that could be needed elsewhere 🙏

An evening call out for our crews last night, searching for a missing kite surfer off Ocean Reef. The kite was retrieved but no person to be found. G1 & G2 and the search and rescue helicopter where deployed. Thankfully the kite surfer was able to swim to shore safely.
Great work by our crews and water police.
A thank you to all the members of the public who phoned in reporting the kite in trouble, our community certainly stepped up when someone was in trouble. Thanks to you all!

Whether it is sightseeing, whale watching, wineries, cave exploring beaches, history, sports, parks, trails, or river tours Augusta has absolutely got you covered! 🙌

Augusta Margaret River: The Shire of Augusta Margaret River is one of the most popular regions to visit in Western Australia.

The historic Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse : This lighthouse in Augusta is situated at the tip of a spectacular peninsula where the Southern and Indian Oceans meet - the most south-westerly point of Australia. Take a trip through maritime history and learn how this famous landmark was constructed from local limestone in 1895, and is still a vital working lighthouse for vessels navigating the treacherous cape. As the tallest lighthouse on mainland Australia, Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is a must-see attraction in the Margaret River Region.

Jewel Caves: Entering Jewel Cave is a magical experience, a dazzling visual display of some of nature's finest and most meticulous work.
