Our P&C Fundraiser is thriving! We’ve raised $4,890 from 101 generous donations. Thank you so much!

But We 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗿𝗲 $ 𝗗𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀! Have you donated yet? We still need to raise a lot more money to completely transform our school’s outdoor spaces into vibrant and thriving areas for our students. The more funds we raise, the more we can achieve.
Please donate today at this link: https://events.humanitix.com/nshs-sponsor-a-plant.

We’ve also secured:

· A $500 grant from Planet Ark’s Seedling Bank

· Free soil from New Leaf Nursery

· A commitment from NB Council to supply numerous plants free of charge

· Offers from parents to source plants and supplies at discounted rates

The NSHS P&C Committee is thrilled by the positive engagement and enthusiasm from our school community for this project. Donating is a fantastic way for individuals to directly support these improvements and the revitalisation of NSHS!

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁! While the sponsorship link will remain open for donations, we are preparing to start our school garden transformation. Exciting!

Our students will play a pivotal role in personally transforming their school. Starting with the school’s front entrance, our elective Bush Care students have begun clearing and preparing the garden beds for new native plants with planting to follow.

Parents & Students are invited to sign up for the ‘NarraBee’ Garden Working Bee on Sunday, 22 September, from 8am-12pm. The P&C is only a small number of dedicated parents who cannot do it all. The volunteers we have, the more we can get done! Come for as long as you can spare, we just want to see you there!

This project is massive and will continue for many months. If you have landscaping skills, a green thumb, or simply a desire to contribute meaningfully to our school, please get involved! Together, we can achieve the seemingly impossible!

Let’s sow the seeds of growth and togetherness at Narrabeen Sports High School!

Congratulations to Year 11 student-athletes 𝗝𝗼𝗲 𝗟 & 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻 𝗙 who are continuing their journey together in the Sydney FC A-League squad with them both having signed their first professional contracts!

These boys have been mates and playing together since they were 6! What a story! Thank you to for sharing this incredible news!

We are very proud of these boys and their achievements.

We would like to take this opportunity to welcome Joe & Marin back to Narrabeen Sports High School after a stint of Distance Education whilst under an A-League contract.

Joe was drawn back to Narrabeen back in May for the 'access to awesome teachers in real time, the sense of community and connection at school and the importance of social contact'.

Marin has recently returned after a longer time spent with Distance Education as he values the 'face to face teaching, the support from NSHS for both his academic and elite sporting commitments and being with his friends'.

Welcome back Joe & Marin! It is a pleasure to have you both back studying at Narrabeen whilst we continue to support your academic achievements and elite sporting commitments.

Our school also has a selective sports program, ‘The Sports Academy’ catering for students with sporting acumen who travel to the school from across the northern suburbs of Sydney.

The school has established a school concert band.

The school works closely with a diverse and unique community and has built its success on a creative blend of tradition and innovation. The school lives and works upon Guringai land, holding deep respect for the wisdom and guidance of the elders who will forever be the caretakers of this country.
