Congratulations Ella Knight (Year 10) - NSW State Senior Wind Band!
The State Wind Band coordinated by The Arts Unit, consisted of 61 students from 41 different public high schools across NSW. The students engaged in an intensive weekend rehearsal before taking to the Sydney Opera House stage, performing two challenging pieces in front of sold-out audiences as a part of the Festival of Choral Music. Congratulations to Ella on her significant musical achievement as well as the manner in which she represented Woolooware High School.

BIG Congratulations to Maggie Treanor in Year 7 who has been awarded the 12 years Girls Sydney East Athletics Champion. Well done Maggie- School Age Champion, Zone Age Champion now Sydney East Champion.
Maggie will compete along with Kayla Babington, Ryan Bassanese, Paige Bauer, Hayley Blanch, Mia Bridgland, Frances Gorman, Scarlett Hoerr and Amber Tubbs at the NSW CHSSA Athletics Carnival in September.
On an absolute belter of a day, Year 10 Geography students were down at Cronulla Beach learning about Coastal Processes and Management Strategies today.

STAFF v YEAR 12 STUDENTS - Series locked at 1-1!
After a dominant teacher display in Volleyball last Monday, the Staff vs Year 12 series was levelled after an arguably equally dominant display by the students in Touch Footy this afternoon.
Props to the staff for not picking up any injuries this afternoon, no small feat considering the average age discrepancy between the opposing sides today.
The 2024 Staff vs Year 12 decider will take place next Monday when football (the world game, the beautiful game, the best game of all) will take centre stage.

Year 11 PDHPE students and staff have successfully completed their Senior First Aid Course today, equipping themselves with essential life-saving skills. This immersive experience, part of our PDHPE curriculum, is more than just a school requirementโit's a valuable life credential that prepares our students for any situation.

A fantastic run in the Bill Turner Cup and Trophy competition has come to an end at the hands of Westfields Sports HS last Friday.
Congratulations to Mr Stuart Cox and the girls on representing the school with pride and with a great brand of football that saw them score a massive 39 goals in 8 games, resulting in a Top 8 finish in the competition.

The annual โGuess Who?โ knockout championship ended today with a tightly contested final between Sienna and Darius. Sienna looked set to win so Darius took a lucky guess that paid off!
Congratulations to Darius and well done to all students, who played every game entirely in Indonesian. ๐ฎ๐ฉ
MEDAL ALERT: NATIONAL CHAMPION๐ฅ๐ฅ
A HUGE CONGRATULATIONs to TULLY JOHNSON (Year 9) who has returned home from the Australian All Schools Championships as Australian Champion.
Tully was part of the NSW team that won GOLD. His team were undefeated leading into the Gold Medal match and were 2 goals down leading into the 3rd quarter. With a full time score of 2-2 Tully was selected to take a one-on-one penalty shot. In a hugely stressful but exciting moment Tully showed poise and skill to slot a successful shot into the net!!! Along with it the GOLD Medal for himself and his team.
What a HUGE moment and achievement for Tully! WHS is very PROUD of you.
