The formation of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Radiology early in 1935 led to the College of Radiologists in 1949. Since then, the College has had three further name changes, until finally becoming The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 1998.

Dr Nishat Bharwani is a Consultant Radiologist at the Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHNT) and Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at the Imperial College London.
Associate Professor Piet Ost is Associate Professor of Radiation Oncology at Ghent University and Chair of the EORTC Radiation Oncology Research Council.

The 2024 RANZCR Annual Ceremony is being held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre in the Riverside Theatre at 6 pm on Friday, 18 October 2024.
Gowning and photography will begin from 4 pm, followed by the ceremony and Dean’s Reception.
Registrations for the Annual Ceremony are open to all eligible new Fellows having completed their traineeship from Sunday, 10 September 2023 to Sunday, 8 September 2024. If you are unable to attend in person, please also record your non-attendance via the same registration page as we require your final RSVP for planning and postage of your certificate.
📌RSVPs close at 5 pm (AEST) on Friday, 13 September 2024. Please note we will not be able to accept any registrations after this date.
