I have a client who has a diagnosis of Schizoprephenia and to add to the mix, Anxiety and Depression as well.

The first time we met, she couldn’t look at me in the eyes, and my heart did this: 💔 when she told me that nothing made her happy.

It’s taken months of gentle conversations, small stepped tasks, combined with engagement in other forms of therapy such as Exercise Physiology, to work on the parts of life that were just too hard to cope with.

Yesterday we had the best therapy session, that left us both beaming from ear to ear! I learnt so much about her through a simple collage exercise … and she identified things that made her happy - Yes, Yes, Yes! (me mentally doing backflips)! 🤗

It’s been such a rewarding journey so far.
As a therapist, It’s these moments that fuel our motivation! What a gift!

As Allied Health Professionals, we LOVE providing staff with a toolkit on how to make the workstation fit for them. From adjusting your chair to your monitor height - it's all important!
