Year 10 students and their families attended an information session for transitioning to stage 6 and pathways beyond school. The session provided information on the stage 6 requirements, university and TAFE pathway, home learning expectations and tracking learning on Google Classroom. We will be holding individual meetings with families in Week 6 to tailor a pathway for each individual.
Stage 5 iSTEM students embarked on an inspiring journey to the M6 bridge site at President Ave. This hands-on experience provided them with a wealth of knowledge, as they engaged with engineers, environmental consultants and project management staff. Our students were immersed in the complexities of engineering, from understanding the logistical intricacies and safety considerations to exploring the vision and future planning involved. This opportunity enriched their engineering design skills, developed their environmental awareness, and a deeper understanding of the range of career paths within design, construction and management of major projects.
