Just want to let everyone know there is a very good chance Monday Nights Cruise Night may still happen. A few fine individuals who have a desire to keep this amazing event alive and well are working hard to finalize a deal and Rebels will support them every step of the way! Greetings to all the supporters of the Rebels community! It's been a journey filled with contemplation and heartfelt discussions as we mapped out the course for this year's cherished Monday night gatherings.

The decision that lies before us hasn't been made lightly. The Rebels team, after much deliberation and with heavy hearts, has come to the conclusion that we will not be proceeding with the 2024 Monday Show n' Shine under the banner of the Rebels Classic Car & Hot Rod Club. This choice, influenced by a multitude of factors, was incredibly difficult to make, and we fully understand it may not sit well with everyone.

In our discussions with both Canadian Tire & The Burlington Centre, we found understanding and shared disappointment. However, they remain open and hopeful, welcoming proposals from any group ready to carry the torch forward for this extraordinary event.

From the outset, our ambition with the Monday night events was to create a platform for giving back, to support local community charities through our shared passion for classic & specialty cars. While we've achieved some success in raising vital funds, the path to Rebels fundraising goals—balancing time, finances, and resources—has proven challenging for Rebels. As we evolve, Rebels will continue to thrive as a hub for car enthusiasts, refining our mission to more accurately reflect our goals and aspirations in the weeks ahead.

The spirit of the Monday night events is something we dearly wish to preserve. Thus, we're asking you or you reaching out to organizations, groups, or individuals with the enthusiasm and vision to take over this magnificent weekly gathering. We are committed to facilitating a smooth transition, offering our insights and discussing potential asset transfers to ensure the event's ongoing success. We extend our deepest gratitude to every car enthusiast who joined us on those magical Monday nights, to everyone who supported and believed in our vision. Hey Rebels! Tis the season!! We will be featured once again in the Burlington Santa Clause Parade on December 3rd! We are looking for 6 cars to join our group to bring some holiday smiles to our community! Please message if interested and we will get in touch with further details!

Hey Rebels, we have received a few inquiries if there is an event tonight. Please be advised our weekly Monday nights has ended for the season. We will post at a later date when the season opener will be for 2024!

Hey Rebels, Leggat Auto & GM will be at our finale today offering test drives of some of the coolest vehicles to raise funds on behalf of Rebels in support of our charity ROCK. Leggat & GM are donating $25.00 for each test drive to maximum of $3000.00 Let's do some more good for ROCK! Go Rebels!

Rebels had a fantastic day supporting Joseph Brant Hospital and Foundation & Horsepower 4 Hospital raising funds for important investments keeping Joseph Brant Hospital a world class hospital. Special thanks to fellow Rebels Susan Gilbey and John Giannakis for helping all day

Calling all Rebels!! Tomorrow Monday September 25th is our final weekly event of the season at Canadian Tire/Burlington Centre! Come on by between 5-8pm to help us finish off the season and continue to help us fundraise for ROCK Reach Out Centre for Kids! Don’t forget your $2 entry fee if you are bringing a car to display - all proceeds go directly to ROCK!

As it is showing on multiple forecasts, there is a probable chance of precipitation during the first half of tonights show. With this kind of weather, we won't be able to setup our equipment so we are, sadly, canceling our Formal show for tonight. 😢 We understand some of you will still want to congregate this evening however the Rebels team will not be in attendance.

On the positive side, we have been granted a rain date option if for some reason our final show of the season on Sept 25th has weather issues. This allows us to wish everyone well for the off season no matter the weather 😊. Stay tuned!
