Lily has been with us since she was 6m old and all of her siblings have been adopted and sweet Lily is still waiting.

This is our Cat Condo that we are pleased to share with many local cat rescues here in Brantford. We are thankful that REN'S PETS has allowed for it to remain functional in the store.

So many rescues offered to take the condo to help with their cat crisis. So we would like to offer the opportunity to help build a condo like this for another rescue in need. Stay tuned for ways you can help make this wish come true for another rescue.

It feels like there is a plea for help every week. We have been asked to help more pups but we can’t without Fosters. What does that mean for the pups? Not a very good outcome, that’s what. 😞

A BIG Thank you to Flights For Hope for sponsoring all 7 pups over the weekend. They flew from Manitoba to Ontario and into foster care! From Venus, Echo, Mimi, Annie, Hughie , Maeve , Kimiko and all of us thank you 🙏

Thank you to our Youth Volunteers Haydon & Nigel for helping with intake yesterday. From collecting the pups and playing with them until we got to our vet appointment at which they kept them calm in the exam room waiting for the vet. Afterwards they carried bags of food and foster supplies to each of the Foster’s car so each pup was set up for success. We hope you enjoyed the experience as much as we enjoyed having the extra helping hands.

This is WHY we need fosters so desperately.
Please please please consider opening your home to saving a life. We get these notices daily and it’s killing us knowing innocent lives are being killed.

Foster’s Needed Aug 8th. Venus, Mimi and Echo were left to die in conditions that lacked nutrition, shelter, water and love. Their little bodies beat up with mange leaving them in pain and discomfort. With the right nutrition, deworming and love their Manitoba foster has been able to help them gain weight and get their fur to grow back and learn to be a puppy and not just a survivor.

There is nothing extra special or extra precautions a foster needs to take when caring for a medical case like this. We provide all that is needed and there might be a couple of medicated baths that will be needed to soothe the skin.

5/7 of the pups were surrendered. 3 rescues stepped up and we only had to take 2 of the dogs. This is a huge relief for us because we have 7 puppies arriving Aug 8th that we need fosters for. Thank you to everyone who offered to help! We will be in touch 💕

Thank you to everyone who fostered a puppy this weekend. I just want to say that we are 💯 volunteer based so when we take time out of our work schedule,family time, and sleep to follow up with individuals only to get Ghosted or told “maybe next time” it really does waste our time. ( sorry to sound so rude)

Fostering is a lot of work but it’s rewarding so please if you decide to foster,
1. make sure you’re whole family is onboard
2. review your own agenda and commitments and that they allow for you to foster until pup is adopted.
3. Make sure your own pets are comfortable with other dogs being in their home.
4. Fill out an application ahead of time and indicate when you can start.
5. Email us for more info if you’re unsure 💕 we can’t screen every comment.
6. You live anywhere between Toronto to Woodstock.

We want fostering to be enjoyable and rewarding. We have a great group of Coordinators who are available to you through group chats to answer any and all questions and provide support throughout the entire fostering experience.
