So if I have had a loooong day at the office on the computer I am often tempted to order Starbucks from Uber Eats, which is super expensive and not great for me. Gives me a temporary sugar high and then I crash....and am worse of then when I started. So today I got half way Through ordering and thought… No, I have amazing healthy things here that I can make. So instead of a tea and brownie from Starbucks I’m having delicious superfood mushrooms with cacao! Seriously, mushrooms, I don’t eat them any other way! So good!! And it gives me sustainable energy and nourished my body!! Love them so much! Oh yah and 1/4 of the price of Starbucks!!!!!

So first of all, thank you so much for supporting us over the last five years! We feel blessed to have you as our students! We thank you so much for sticking with us though all of our ups and downs and growing pains. Our news is that... we are GROWING!
We are VERY EXCITED and have lots of plans for our new space so...this is what we can tell you right now.
1.We are moving to 149st and Yellowhead Trail. This location is much more accessible to more people and we hope to serve a wider market through it! We are planning to be open for April 1 and will be staying in our current space until then. We may try to find some additional space for January to add more classes to serve you better!
2. We are going to have waaaaay more space. We are going to have two 600sq foot studios. For some perspective, the current location has one 450 sq foot studio.
3.There will be waaay more parking. Back and front and we will have two entrances.
4.There will also be two treatment rooms where we will be offering, Accupuncture, Reiki and possibly massage! Do you know someone great that does body work that is looking for space? Send them my way!
5.We are going to have a wider variety of classes. With 2 studios we will be able to offer more classes at peak times and the best part is.... that we are going to add other fitness classes. You will be sure to see pilates, Bellyfit, Zumba and strength and cardio classes just to name a few!
6.I saved the best for last... CHANGE ROOMS! We are going to have CHANGE ROOMS! How exciting is that!!! Its definitely my favorite part! We are also going to have fully accessible washrooms for those who need.
And of course all current and new passes will be valid at the new locations 🙂
We are still going to be the same Above Average Community we have always been, it is just time for us to invite more people in to join us! I look forward to your support to help support our growth. Please watch for ways in the next few months that you will be able to share Above Average Wellness with your peeps!

Bathtub vibes tonight. This is one of my safe havens at the end of a day that was just a little too long.

Chocolate Pudding for Breakfast.... umm.... yes! So basically it is high in magnesium, healthy fats and is good for energy and libido... do you need to know much more?!! LOL
So Much goodness!!
Here is the simple and fast recipe for Chocolate Maca Chia Pudding!
Ingredients
3/4 cup any milk, unsweetened( I used light coconut milk)
2 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
3 tbsp plus 2 teaspoons chia seeds
1 tbsp cacao powder
1 tsp of Maca Powder
Place all ingredients into a Mason jar or any container with a tight lid liquids first. If you put in the dry ingredients first they will stick.
Whisk well or stir vigorously with a fork until cacao powder is well combined with the rest of ingredients.
Let sit for 5-10 minutes and stir again
Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
When ready to eat, stir well again.
If you need it sweeter, just add some more maple syrup, if you like it thicker, just add some more Chia 🙂 less thick, less Chia!
Tip with fruit, nuts or coconut 🙂
Makes 2 servings
Can stay refrigerated for 4-5 days 🙂

I am trying to bring the spirit of Mexico home with me this time and truly infuse it into my own life. That feeling that I have when I am there. That feeling of love, peace, joy and freedom.
I think too often we are sold this idea that you can only feel like you feel on vacation, when you are actually on vacation. But I call bullsh**!
Its all about choice.
On vacation I choose to greet the sun as it rises, eat delicious and nutritious food, spend my days exploring the world around me and meditating with nature..... wait a second.... I can literally choose to do that anywhere that I am!
Today I invite you to explore the things that make a vacation special to you and see how you can bring that into your day to day, it is simple, but certainly not easy!
Here is my dinner Wednesday night that James and I cooked together, it was so delicious I even added extra spinach to it! Watch for hashtag as I explore different ways I can infuse that feeling into my everyday!
