It is with profound sadness and grief that we share the news of the passing of Tina Tarabay our office manager at Classic Physiotherapy.

She was the most amazing colleague, friend, mother, wife and worker. She was a force to be reckoned with and everyone who knew her and met her, loved her.

These next few weeks will be very difficult for us all to navigate without our beloved Tina.

Meet our new Physiotherapist Hailey West!

Hailey earned her Master’s of Physiotherapy from Dalhousie University in 2021, (BSc Kinesiology in 2017). Since graduation Hailey as been practicing predominantly in private practice orthopaedics.

Hailey is currently working through the Advanced Integrated Musculoskeletal (AIM) Physiotherapy Program through the National Orthopaedic Division of Physiotherapy. In addition to the AIM program, she has successfully challenged and completed Level 1 Dry Needling training through Acupuncture Canada, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy for Female Urinary Incontinence via Uro-Saunte and a Sport First Responder Certification through Sport Physiotherapy Canada. Her commitment to professional development post-grad has broadened her ability to assess and treat, and extended this list of services she can provide to her patients.

Hailey currently sits on the board of executives for the Nova Section of the National Orthopaedics Division (NOD) and helps organize AIM-courses in Nova Scotia as well as other short courses lead by leaders in the physiotherapy community in hopes to create more learning/ development opportunities for her Nova Scotian colleagues.

Outside of her clinical time, Hailey spends any free time she can exploring hiking trails with her dog Bandit and heading out to all the province/ national parks to camp!

Yesterday we sadly said goodbye to one of the most valued members of our team!

Carrie was our Quinpool Road office manager for the last six years. She’s going on a new adventure in Newfoundland and we wish her all the success in the world.💕💕

We will miss her terribly but we have a fantastic new office manager named Tina taking her place at the helm. More introductions on Tina to come.
